I am not sure why people dont like this drone from a few reviews? This by far is the easiest best flying drone I have every used, I added clips 2 make the propeller rings connect together, Maybe that is the difference maker? I have flown it in wind and no problems at all. The drone fly's fantastic, is easy to use, If you want to get great videos not spend all day setting up your drone for that quick shot, but also still use the drone with a remote at times? For an average family that wants great high res video and pictures, I am not sure you can beat it? A great Value for the money, very durable, also will follow you around without a remote. The flymore is the way to go, you get alot of battery life, and with a 100 watt charger ( Extra Purchase on Amazon) takes very little time to charge them.

Great starter drone. I use it to record my dogs a lot. I’ve had it for 4 months as a first time drone owner, it still does more than I have even tried to get it to. I enjoy flying it, but it has a ton of intelligent features. The follow me was what I got it for, but it has a ton more modes. This is not a wind safe drone and be sure to get the fly more package, otherwise going somewhere to fly is just a waste of time, as I usually like to spend a battery flying around and walking to find the shots I want! This does not have remote id (you can get a module and it flies just fine with it (holy stone)), if you are using it for commercial use in the US, that is something you will want to note. For recreational, it is under the required weight to have to register it. Setup out of box to fly was super easy. I love the portability of it. Overall great starter drone for the money. Have survived a few crashes (small tiny branch that was just sticking out) and it does a great job surviving those falls. Get the RC2 controller! So much better than using a phone or the controller without a built in screen Video is shot in dlog 4k 60 fps, edited in fcp by applying DJI flip LUT (free download from DJI) and color correcting with color wheels. This takes about 10 minutes and I’m sure there is a free tool out there to do this. I just do it for work, so the video is a quick cut just using color correction so you can see the basic quality of the video from the drone you can get! Dlog is the way to film for highest quality!

An absolutely marvelous gift for my husband. He loves it. DJI is the best for drones, which is why I have to mention this... the DJI ban is ridiculous and hurts Americans. Period. I get the whole geopolitical drama, but Americans will not be able to afford this tech unless they find a happy medium. USA companies are making subpar products for excessive price tags. So I certainly hope the powers that be figure this out, because DJI drones are leaps and bounds ahead of the competition, and I personally think its 'the competition' who've pushed to make it difficult to acquire. Whatever...the drone is awesome. Its everything its proported to be. Lightweight, maneuverable, excellent video quality, incredibly responsive, small, has excellent flight time on a single battery, all the features are simply amazing. And as a gift for a big kid (aka a 40 year old hobby photgrapher) this was a huge hit. He loves it, and has already gotten some incredibly beautiful footage as a beginner. I can't wait to see what he can get as he grows more confident flying it. I can't speak to durability yet, because he is still a bit like Gollum with his Precious about flying it. Not exactly inclined to test durability yet.😉

Pros: This drone is amazing. I’ve had it for at least 2 or 3 weeks and it has flown as I hoped it would. The camera is great it takes amazing videos and photos. It’s quick and responsive when using the joysticks and releasing the joysticks. Obstacle avoidance feature is wonderful as well. I’ve come pretty close to things. I have not tested the range on this so I cannot comment on that. All of the extra features without the remote or the phone work great as well such as the follow me mode which I’ve used on the skateboard and it does keep up. I personally think it flies great at night and it takes great night photos and videos as well. I do also have a DJI phantom. I love that the flip is small enough, but not too small. Like anything with a propeller or prop it’s going to make noise however this drone is fairly quieter than most Cons: Battery. I will test this again, however when I tested it before I was lucky enough to get 16 to 20 minutes on the battery before it got to roughly around 30%. It could also just be me as well whereas I could be using different settings. I have yet to see 31 minutes of flight time per battery. At the moment, I honestly can’t think of anything else that is negative.

This is an awesome drone. Comes with so many built in features plus flies very well in manual mode. The Fly More Combo adds lots of value to the experience with extra batteries, a charging port and nice case to store everything nicely. I'm still learning all the features but right out of the box it is very easy to fly. The propeller guides don't appear to hinder its performance. It can be flown without controllers, through a phone app or using the RC2 controller. I've flown it both indoors and outside with better than expected results. It does not have 360 degree obstruction avoidance so you have to be careful when flying around obstacles. DJI is the go to brand for drones.

Amazing first time drone. My wife and I both have one and go flying with each other. Perfect for fun or capturing pretty good 4k for vacation, vlogging, or anything where open blades are discouraged. Easy to fly indoors as well without having to worry about slicing open furniture or walls with open props.

The flip DJI is a super joy to fly. Easy controls right out the box. Great video & picture quality & great value for the price.

It’s a great drone but you better have lots of backup batteries. I had 5 and 2 of them stopped working already. A total joke and extremely disappointing.

Meine ersten Eindrücke: DJI Flip – Kompakt, leistungsstark und intuitiv! Vor drei Tagen durfte ich endlich meine neue DJI Flip in Empfang nehmen, und nach den ersten ausgiebigen Testflügen bin ich restlos begeistert! DJI hat hier scheinbar wieder einmal bewiesen, warum sie im Drohnenmarkt eine Klasse für sich sind. Was mir sofort auffiel, war das extrem kompakte und durchdachte Design. Die "Flip" macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre – sie lässt sich unglaublich gut zusammenfalten und passt problemlos in so gut wie jede Tasche. Das macht sie zum idealen Begleiter für spontane Abenteuer oder Reisen, wo Platz Mangelware ist. Der Mechanismus zum Auf- und Zuklappen fühlt sich zudem sehr robust und hochwertig an. Doch die wahre Stärke der DJI Flip offenbart sich in der Luft. Die Flugeigenschaften sind – wie von DJI gewohnt – einfach hervorragend. Sie schwebt präzise, reagiert butterweich auf Steuereingaben und trotzt selbst leichtem Wind mühelos. Für Anfänger ist der Einsteigermodus super hilfreich, während erfahrenere Piloten die vollen manuellen Steuerungen zu schätzen wissen. Die Akkulaufzeit scheint für die Größe auch sehr anständig zu sein und erlaubt entspannte Flugsessions. Ein absolutes Highlight ist natürlich die Kameraqualität. DJI hat hier, selbst bei so einem kompakten Modell, keine Kompromisse gemacht. Die Aufnahmen sind gestochen scharf, farbenfroh und detailreich, sowohl bei Fotos als auch bei Videos. Die Gimbal-Stabilisierung ist phänomenal und sorgt für ruckelfreie, professionell aussehende Clips, selbst wenn man die Drohne aktiv bewegt. Die Verbindung zur DJI Fly App war kinderleicht und intuitiv. Alle Funktionen sind logisch angeordnet und die Bedienung ist denkbar einfach. Die intelligenten Flugmodi, wie beispielsweise QuickShots, machen es auch Neulingen leicht, beeindruckende Aufnahmen zu erstellen. Fazit nach vier Tagen: Die DJI Flip ist eine fantastische Ergänzung im Drohnenportfolio von DJI. Sie vereint Portabilität mit erstklassiger Performance und Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Wer eine kompakte, aber dennoch leistungsstarke Drohne mit exzellenter Kamera für unterwegs sucht, wird mit der DJI Flip definitiv glücklich werden. Ich freue mich schon auf viele weitere Flüge und atemberaubende Aufnahmen!

El concepto y la calidad del dron son muy buenos. Me gusta muchísimo el concepto y la imagen de seguridad que da en general con los protectores de helices, gran estabilización, muy buena autonomía y es muy fácil de volar. Cosas que mejoraría: 1.COLOR Y PROCESADO: El procesado del color de las fotos y los videos es muy contrastado y poco cálido. El del DJI Mini 2, por ejemplo, tiene un color muchísimo más cálido y agradable para mi gusto. La calidad de las fotos ocupa mucho espacio y no sé si será por el procesado o por otra razón, pero se ven un poco cuarteadas y artificiales. 2. FORMATOS: No graba a 2.7K en horizontal ni tiene tamaños intermedios entre los 12 MP y los 48 MP. Lo ideal, en mi caso, sería un formato de aproximadamente 24 MP, ya que 48 ocupan muchísimo y 12 quizá se queda un poco corto. Sobre todo, a la hora de mandar fotos a redes y demás, los 48 MP requieren reducirlas de tamaño porque ocupan demasiado. 3. NO TIENE LUCES: Únicamente cuenta con la de la batería, lo que hace que al volarlo con poca luz casi no se vea. El Mini 2 tiene luces abajo, adelante y en la batería, por lo que es mucho más visible. Debería incluir alguna luz que pueda encenderse para aumentar su visibilidad. 4. MODO SEGUIMIENTO: Cuando se activa el modo seguimiento, detecta muy bien a las personas, pero si las pierde, no puedes girar el dron para orientarlo hacia donde están. Tienes que eliminar el seguimiento para permitir que gire, lo cual es poco práctico. Además, solo sigue a personas, no a otros objetos como vehículos. CARGA DOBLE BATERÍA SIMULTÁNEA: Para que esta carga se realice de forma simultánea, hay que utilizar un cargador de mucha potencia, si no, no funciona. Esto quizá podría mejorarse de alguna manera, anunciarse de forma más clara o incluir en el dron un cargador específico para esta carga doble, ya que es difícil de encontrar. 5. APERTURA DEL OBJETIVO: No tengo claro que los drones deban llevar objetivos f/1.7 no modificables. La mayoría de los planos del dron son de paisajes y, a f/1.7, muchas zonas quedan desenfocadas. Deberían incluir un objetivo con menos apertura o, al menos, con un rango de f/1.7 a f/2.8. 6. RUIDO Y SEGURIDAD: Es una pena que siendo un drone que no da miedo a la gente por tener las helices protegidas, algo que me gusta muchísimo y da mucha tranquilidad. Pero el sonido es irritante y esto puede poner nervioso a más de uno. Mejorar el sonido poniendole helices de más aspas o algún otro sistema. 7. MANDO RC2: El mando con pantalla incorporada no tiene conexión a Internet, por lo que hay que cargar los mapas manualmente. Las zonas se cargan en franjas de tamaño muy pequeño, lo que es costoso y dificulta saber qué partes del mapa se han descargado y cuáles no. Se puede sincronizar con el móvil, pero al final prefiero mandos más baratos que se conectan directamente al móvil, asegurando así la conexión a Internet y mapas actualizados. IDEAS: 1. DESENGANCHE: Estaría genial que el dron tuviera una función de desenganche que moviera las hélices de un lado a otro rápidamente para generar una vibración y poder liberarlo en caso de quedar atrapado en un árbol, cables o ramas altas. 2. REFORZAR EL GIMBAL: El DJI Mini 2 y otros modelos tienen protección anticaídas para el gimbal. Este modelo parece que no la tiene y la cámara queda muy expuesta. Conclusión ¡Este dron es una maravilla para el precio que tiene! No se puede pedir más. ¡Gran trabajo, DJI! 😉
