Cheaply built, lacking the basic settings; the quality of sound is bad.

UPDATE: The company did make good on the phone. They were very responsive. I am satisfied with the phone. It's very basic but a good phone for seniors. I would buy this phone again as good phones for seniors are hard to find. Original review: Just got it. One of the contacts was missing in SIM 1, so I used the second slot and it works, but a little disturbing that it's supposedly new but defective. Screen resolution is poor. It's fairly large for a flip phone. The good, well not sure yet. Seems solid. Seems loud. Seems quite user friendly though there are basically no instructions. The sim card slot is very tiny and needs to be gently pushed back and opened according to what's in TINY TINY print on the slot. The access to the back cover is fiddly. It's a full screw not just a partial turn. To reinstall the cover you need to notch the one end, THEN PRESS DOWN FULLY, and then the screw will thread. My next job is to figure out what all those tiny icons are on the top left of the screen..... Anyhow, I will likely up the rating depending on how they respond to the broken contact and how the phone works in the next few days.

Phone is good But its not being charged within three months 100 $ has quite a value for me it should have a year or two

I bought the agm m8 flip phone for a 90 year old senior. I can only find one ringtone, which he cannot hear. I tried to find out if it is possible to change ringtones as I just want the loudest ringtone possible but I cannot get any replies from their “support” department. Update. They did contact me with some suggestions but it still did not allow me to access a louder ring tone. He does like the big buttons and will just need to get accustomed to the ring. Was happy with the result and it is a good phone for seniors. Big buttons and simple to call out and receive calls which is all he wanted. Also does texting but no internet which is good.

Took one star off because of the poor instructions. THANKFULLY there are enough reviews with really good information as to how to... get the back off.... take the battery out..... take the SIM card slot holder off and ... install the SIM card. We ended up taking a photo of the inside of the phone on the iPad and then we could expand the photo to read the teeny tiny print on the inside as to which direction to slide SIM holders and how to put in the SIM cards. Our suggestion.. get someone with YOUNG eyes and nimble fingers to do this for you. The phone battery is DEAD so you MUST charge it after you get the SIM installed and battery reinstalled and back on BEFORE you can get it charged up and ready to go. NOW, the phone buttons on the keypad are a good size. This was purchased for a 90 year young Mom with Macular degeneration and needs defined black and white colours to see. This phone has big black and white buttons which will work better for Mom. The screen quality and size is not an issue she would never need to use it, however, the screen is big enough to read and it is very clear for our needs. The phone is for calls and texting, she does not text so will be perfect for her to use for calls, which would be for emergency use and when she needs to get picked up after appointments. We set it up for Mom and it worked as soon as it was completely charged. I would HIGHLY recommending going to the phone web site and download the user manual. It is very helpful.

This phone is worth the money, it's well built, functions well, and it comes in a nice package. I'm really happy I bought this as our travel phone and for emergencies to use with our Pay as you Go SIM cards. It's also great that it has a large 1500mAh battery so it lasts on standby for almost 2 weeks. You can also set the phone to power down and power back up at specific times automatically everyday to extend that standby battery life, and also so you don't get interrupted overnight by SPAM or wrong number callers. The FM Radio is also a cool feature too as an added bonus. Really can't say enough about this plain normal flip phone. The build quality is excellent and it's built to last. Perfect phones for kids or seniors as well. Get one, you won't be sorry!
