Excellent hair dye and easily applied. It lasts a reasonable length of time without too much fading and I have no problems getting a match

New Nice n Easy formula is awful, avoid avoid avoid
Used Clairol Nice n Easy for years, but this new formula they have changed to is awful. Firstly, it is very messy to use as the product is runnier than the previous formula so you have to constantly keep wiping the product as it runs down your face and neck while it is on your hair. Next up it leaves your hair feeling like it has a waxy residue on it, not the nice soft silky finish that the product us to give. Finally on top of being messy, leaving your hair feeling horrible it doesn't give as good coverage of grey hairs as the previous formula, it doesn't giving lasting coverage like before. After years of using nothing but Nice n Easy I, like it seems many others, am now looking at changing to a different brand. I have contacted Clairol about how bad the product is and they don't seem that bothered that their changes are losing them lots of customers, so they don't really deserve to keep us as customers.

Not bad, but….
I’ve used this shade quite a few times now. Although I appreciate it is semi permanent, it doesn’t last the advertised amount of washes. I wash my hair 1/2 times a week and find after 3 weeks it needs redoing. For the price it’s not terrible but would ideally like to not have to do my hair so often!! Also the gloss conditioner included is tiny, no where near enough to cover my whole hair! Overall not bad for the price point

Greasy, thick residue left on hair
I have been using the Demi permanent colour 79 for years but this new formula is awful. I'm so disappointed. At first I thought I'd done something wrong, but I've used this twice now to make sure, and this product leaves a thick, greasy residue all over the hair. So much so that I had to wash it all over again after trying to style it. Its like I've got a thick, matte wax in my hair. I'll definitely be switching to a different brand now. Given it 2 stars as it still did the job and coloured my greys but my hair looked greasy like I haven't washed it at all.
