Great for Focusing on Tasks
I have a difficult time staying focused and have found that this visual timer is helping me break tasks into timed chunks. Adjusting the timer is easy, and the design is sleek and modern. The alarm is sufficiently loud without being overpowering. The screen is easy to see in any lighting conditions, and the numbers are big and easy to read. The timer features magnetic strips on the back that are strong enough to hold it on a fridge. However, the magnets are relatively weak, making it easy for the timer to shift or slide off if bumped.

Does the job it was made for
There's absolutely no magnet strength, I don't even think there's a magnet on there, maybe they forgot to put it on or include it in packaging. Seems a little cheaply made BUT does the job it's made for and seems to be durable enough.

Very happy customer!
You know how sometimes you need a timer, with big numbers so you can see it across the room. You want it to be easy to setup, do not want to push 10 buttons and read a manual how to set it up?Well, this one is for you.Put in the batteries - 3 AAA included in the package - and start using it. Just rotate the outer ring and set the time to what you need. If you rotate slow it will set seconds, rotate fast it will set the minutes. It is so easy. No more buttons to press, manuals to read. Set it and (do not) forget it.The alarm is loud, not that loud to wake up the neighbors, but it is loud enough. If there is noise in the kitchen, you're watching a TV show and the timer goes off the display also blinks in addition to the sound, so you can see it if you cannot hear it. You can place it on any magnetic surfaces, it has a strong magnet on the back. The display also has two settings bright and ECO. Personally I keep it on bright. It also has a low battery alert so you know when to change the batteries.I highly recomend it, even if your stove has a built in timer. You can't hear those they beep so low.

Setting in minutes vs seconds is finicky
This timer blends well with our kitchen, especially when off. The beeps are pretty standard and loud enough without being overwhelming. The general functions are simple to learn, in terms of the button to press (it's NOT a touchscreen) or to hold down to reset completely. Eco mode works as it should.Uses 3x AAA batteries. This isn't an issue for us, as we've stocked up on rechargeable batteries and basically never buy them anymore. For people who still haven't switched over and are using disposable batteries, this could be a frustration. My complaint is that the timing for minutes vs seconds doesn't seem to work as intended. I tend to do fine motor skills fast or TOO fast for most electronics - but I can't get this thing to set in minutes without first adding some seconds onto the timer. I've had some luck by first spinning backwards and then forward to get it to only do minutes...but not always. For my purpose - cooking - it won't make much of a difference. I.e., I wanted to set a 15 minute timer for rice, but the timer spinning to 14 minutes and 15 seconds was fine. But, if I wanted precise timing in minutes the FIRST time I set it, it would be extremely frustrating. I never have a reason to set time in seconds, so I wish a minutes-only option was available if it is not able to be set in minutes reliably.
