Works as expected. Manufacturer makes effort to satisfy customers.
Update: After problems with the remote powering on, the manufacturer reached out to me and offered a free replacement to try again. I accepted the offer and this one performed as advertised. It is possible that I had a bad batch of batteries. This updated review shows that the manufacturer makes every effort to satisfy their customers.Do NOT buy this item. Receiver on the first one I ordered would not power on with new batteries. Thinking it was just a defective item I returned the order for a replacement. The second order had the same problem, receiver would not power on with new batteries. Contacted manufacturer support who advised to install new batteries. This company lacks quality control but Amazon gets high marks for their return policy.

Make sure it's new!
Receive a broken receiver. The remote was good. The receiver never turned. Receiver looked open and finger prints smeared on screen. Paid for new but it was NOT new. Had to return this product.

Works flawlessly with my Nikon D3300
No complaints of any kind. It is a simple set up, plug and play really. You can also set it for different channels if needed.

Works OK
This review is based on the Canon model and the Sony model S1 model. The Canon model works great with my EOS 6D. There’s a bit of a learning curve programming the timer and exposures so I would give it 4 stars. The Sony model cable works with my a65 but the wireless receiver is not compatible with the hot shoe so I give it 2 stars so average three stars between the two of them.

Very easy
I bought couple of these in the past and I even brought one with me to vacation and drove me crazy in the middle of the night.These are very easy to use, understand. Really happy with these. Connects without a problem. Lightweight.
