Avant Silk for Unisex Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce / 100 ml

I have received Avant Silk by Maison Alhambra yesterday and it was packaged nicely. I am giving you my first impressions on it and it kind of threw me off a little when I did one spray. It smelled kind of like lighter fluid for your charcoal with a deep dark fruity notes......However I did one spray of it and I decided to spray 3 to five times in the air to clear out the atomizer because the fragrance does sit in the straw of the atomizer for sometime which will throw you off like it did me, so please be mindful to spray your new fragrance 5 times to clear it out. Now let me get back to the review of my fragrance, and I will say this......Avant Silk is 99.9% Inspired fragrance to the infamous Creed Queen of Silk. I have a decant of Creed Queen of Silk in between Avant Silk and Kiana Crush by Afnan. I smell the richness of Saffron and a deeper earthy note of Cypriol and Amber that I'm pulling off my skin. When I spray them on my arm, at the beginning I was able to tell them slightly apart from their opening, but at the dry down, I was unable to tell them apart, they are TWINS. Now, Afnan Kiana Crush is a lighter version of Queen of Silk with a lot of fresh fruits, I will say, it's 85% to 90% close to Creed Queen of Silk and the fragrance lasted 4 hours on my skin, but 6 to 7 hours on clothes and its best suited for a crisp spring/summer months. Creed Queen of Silk last 5 hours on skin and forever on clothes and its a beautiful dark earthy fruity fragrance that is best suited for fall/winter months. Now, I don't know the longevity of Avant Silk by Maison Alhambra, but I do see it has HIGH oil concentration on my skin just like Creed Queen of Silk has, so I will have to test it out tomorrow morning to give you all updates on the longevity of Avant Silk, as of now this is just my first impression. UPDATE: Tuesday, February 4, 2025, I wore Avant Silk to work last night during my night shift at the hotel, I did 11 sprays of it, 5 times on my skin after showering and moisturized myself with body oil and Vaseline, because the winter months are brutal on my skin. I made sure to spray my "pulse points" where I get the most heat at and 6 times on my clothes before heading to work. It is a very STRONG fragrance and I am a heavy sprayer with my fragrances so, if you feel you don't need much then you can do 1 to 3 sprays. I will say this it lasted 5 hours on my skin and forever on clothes and my hair, because I wear it down and spray the back of my neck which is my heated pulse points. I can say this, it lasted from 11pm-7am throughout my 8 hours shift without any touch up.

At first this perfume had a cringy lingering scent that wasn’t good BUT I’ve learned my lesson and your HAVE to spray them out and let them sit for a week. That lingering weird scent disappeared and it’s now one of my favorites. Sweet fresh and addictive

Industrial chemical scent, very sharp. It is an acquired smell, if you are looking for this type of scent then this is a definite winner. Very strong and loud and has a great lasting power. I recommend to not blind by this perfume.

This smells amazing Creed’s Queen of Silk twin One of my best purchases

So I heard great things about this on TikTok and immediately snapped it up. My initial spray was giving... gasoline, burnt tires :( I was disappointed and confused. BUT then I saw a review that said they had similar first reaction but they sprayed it a few times to clear the nozzle and it improved. I decided why not. Sprayed it out five times and it was way better!! No gas or tire smell. I've let it sit a few more days in a cool dark place and omg it's EVEN BETTER now! I get a lot of the myrhh and saffron but the opening is citrusy and complex.. Its a beautiful statement, special occasion fragrance for sure. Also, def for cooler weather, this would choke you out in the heat! Lol So if the notes are up your alley, go for it but give her some time to settle!

I’ve seen a lots of reviews in IG and YouTube as comparing to the OG.I don’t have the OG yet but knowing the notes of this perfume inspires me to get this too. And oh wow! 1st few sprays like gasoline but it follows with the beautiful notes and it’s smells so good especially it dries down. I tried in my skin and clothes to test the longevity.on my skin stays about 4-6 hours and clothes I would says it last longer. Its smell expensive and rich auntie.

If you want creed queen of silk for an unbelievable price that smells the same and last even longer . GET THIS !

The fragrance has a strong alcohol scent. I understood what it was inspired by and I love beast mode fragrances, so I thought this needed to sit for a while. I sprayed it 10-12 times to let some air in, and stored it in a dark, cool shelf to let it mature for several months. It still has the sharp alcohol scent, so it did not work for me. I was very disappointed as I am a lover of the original. Maybe I received a bad batch. Unfortunately, it is a hard pass for me.
