These are, without question, the best headphones/earbuds I've ever owned. I'll keep this review short, but here are the highlights. Pros: * Affordable: You can buy 10 pairs of these for the price of a single pair of their competitors. After trying out my first pair, I've since bought a pair for my bedroom, home office, and office at work to complement the pair that I bring with me everywhere when out-and-about. So now I always have a pair of headphones right where I need them, and this was achieved for under $40. In fact, I just checked, and when I purchased them in October 2013, these were on sale for $7.50 apiece. So while I'd still HIGHLY recommend them at the current $10-$11 price range, you can probably save a few bucks by waiting to buy them (and, say, using a price tracking website like CamelCamelCamel). * Surprisingly high-quality audio: these little earbuds reliably output beautiful, crisp audio with shockingly deep bass that I can feel in my toes. I honestly was shocked to hear so much more in some of my favorite songs with these than my previous, more expensive headphones. * Comfort: This is of course very personal and what works for me may not work for you, but I have had no issue comfortably wearing these through long plane flights, while running on a treadmill/outdoors (connected to my beloved Sansa Clip), gaming, and listening to podcasts/youtube videos at home. I've worn them for 5+ hours before without my ears getting sore. * Noise-cancellation: I forget if they're even billed as doing this, but the earbuds fit snugly enough to REALLY drown out sound. I've been watching a movie on my laptop before when my roommate and several of his friends arrived at home, greeted me, sat down behind me, and scared me half to death after realizing I'd heard none of the above. They're phenomenal for when you need to drown out your surroundings to relax or just get some things done. * Durability: I've been wearing the hell out of the pair that I take with me everywhere, averaging at least an hour of wearing them per day since I purchased them back in October 2013 (I'm writing this review in mid-August 2014), and they still sound just as good as the day they arrived. This includes not only walking around town with them on but also biking and 3 - 4 days at the gym per week. These little guys just don't seem to quit. Cons: None. Seriously these are among my all time most satisfying purchases, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for earbuds. The only thing that has been a slight inconvenient for me a few times is cord length. These are about 3.6 feet long according to the listing (I was going to guess 3 or 4 feet), which means, for example, they're not going to stretch behind your desk and to the backside of a PC tower sitting on the floor. While there are easy ways to solve these problems (like buying a male-to-female 3.5mm cord (for about $5 or less) and keep the female end on your desk), it is something to keep in mind if you're not intending to use them with a nearby MP3 player or phone. At the same time, the relatively short cord length makes these headphones *ideal* for using while active. I can use these with my Sansa Clip attached to my running shorts when exercising very comfortably. While there is inevitably still some give in the cord (and the cord does sway a bit while I jog), I don't have to worry about it flailing wildly and or having to bundle up the slack cord before I get to exercising. For reference, I'm about 6'2". So if you're in the 7' range you should probably look to use them with an MP3 player/phone on an armband! I'll update this review if and when one of my 4 pairs finally gives out, but at this point you can rest assured that I'll be replacing them with a new pair of these same earbuds!

They led me to other great headphones such as the Sennheiser IE8, Monster Nokia Purity HD In-Ears, Monster Inspiration In-Ears, Bose QuietComfort 15, Sennheiser CX 300 II Precision and currently the Sennheiser HD 201's, so I decided to finally give these a review. To spare you from most of the "expert" headphone terminology, the clarity of these in ear headphones is incredible for its price range. Though the bass is boomy (most times it would be merely audible) at times, and while the soundstage (or how wide the space that sound is perceived) is kind of narrow, the separation of instruments is great and very detailed. What's also great about these is that they are of the in-ear form factor using silicone ear tips. An advantage of using in ear headphones is that they are noise reducing, the sound around you can be cut off around 50-70%. Therefore, you can hear your music better and you don't have to turn up your music in order to hear it better which is a fallacy of conventional earbuds. Don't get these confused with earbuds. In my opinion, these do way better than what may come in the box when you get a phone (be it an iPhone, even with the newer EarPods) or an MP3 player (most of them come with headphones in an earbud form factor.) Not only these block out a good amount of noise in the background around you, they also can perform better than what you would with earbuds. Turning up the volume using earbuds would probably damage your hearing, so this explanation further substantiates that one advantage. Though if you don't like headphones breaking on you, these may not be a good option because they can fray easily within I'd anticipate 4-5 months under everyday use. Though if you don't abuse your headphones and if you take care of them, these can last a while. You may try a do it yourself solution to prevent this fraying, but I've yet to find a solution to that. Otherwise, these are fantastic performers for its low price. I highly recommend them, these are especially awesome as a backup pair if your daily driver breaks. I will summarize its pros and cons here if you're in a hurry: Pros: - In-ear form factor, which aids in noise reduction (not to be confused with noise cancellation.) It makes you hear it better and you don't have to damage your hearing by turning up the volume. - Clarity is amazing on these if you think about how much they cost. - The price for its quality, simply put. - Its value makes it as a great backup pair if your main set breaks. Cons - Durability. The plug breaks easily. If you wish to use it as your main pair, I recommend a DIY solution to remedy this. - Bass at times is boomy, but it's not that bad. - Kind of narrow soundstage (area of how much the sound fills in) That's pretty much it. Being cheap headphones, there will be *very* minor setbacks. I'm mainly for it, I believe these are the top in their price range. These even rival some expensive headphones from my experience, I believe there is absolutely no harm in trying these out. Give them a try. The other reviews agree, you won't be disappointed.

Let me start off by saying that I have used many, many different earbuds and headphones over the years, and these are by FAR the best bang for my buck in terms of quality, durability, and comfort. I've always managed to land jobs where I'm able to listen to audio content throughout my workday, and have consequently spent most of my working hours with at least one earbud tucked into my ears. I thread these down to my pocket where they are plugged into my iPod full time. No matter how much running, walking, lifting, jumping or moving around I do (and I work as a package delivery guy, which means hundreds of movements and ten miles of walking a day), these things take ages to wear out. Under normal use, I'm sure they'd never need replacing unless you managed to blow out the speaker somehow, or cause blatant damage to them. They don't cut in and out from wear on the jack end or on the headphone ends like some other earbuds, which will give way after being cranked around a bit. Next, I have to address the comfort of the ergonomically shaped buds themselves. They are formed to fit into ear, with the speaker being offset from the center of the housing. On others, such as the classic white Apple earbuds, the round shape causes me some discomfort and soreness after hours of wear. But these are just fantastic. I wear them for up to 11 hours at a time with no discomfort whatsoever. Finally, the sound quality. While an audiophile purist will say that they probably don't meet the highest standards in the land, they do a pretty good job. They stand up to much more expensive earbuds, and if you use the proper sized adapter for your ear (three sizes included), the speaker isolates sound very well, so you don't even need any noise-canceling feature. I wear them while driving a diesel truck with the doors open driving down the freeway, and I can hear every word of the audiobook I'm listening to. The treble is good. The bass is excellent for such an inexpensive earbud. And the overall sound quality is going to put other in-ear buds to shame. For less than ten bucks, there is no better ear bud out there. I've owned three pairs over the last two years, and I would only have needed one if I didn't abuse them so much with daily use and extreme wear. If you want to try these, but would like to keep a microphone feature for hands-free calls, you can get some identical to these with in-line microphone in the Panasonic RPTCM125K model.

It lasted 10 years tuck away, daily use, using on-off. the confort inside the ear was excellent. the sound was superb the rubber tips fit some Beats Studio Buds, the original rubber pieces from beats slides off from my ear canal. i would buy a pair of panasonic earbuds just for the rubber tips alone. their only sin this day and age are being wired.

I ordered these because I unintentionally ripped out the wires from the 3.5mm plug on my set of Skullcandy S2INCZ-033. Honestly I thought the Skullcandy sounded significantly better, and were louder too. Those totally and instantly impressed me when I first got them, comparing them to the ones which came with my Sony NWZS545BLK . I used these stock Sony plugs in the interim while these Panasonics were shipping, and while the Panas sound better, it is not the significant better sound the skull candys impressed upon me. These don't sound bad, but they do not have the low thumping bass or the crisp trebles of the Skull Candys. It is like a multiuband eq with all the mid ranges up and all the highs and lows attenuated. They were delivered 2 days after I broke the Skullcandy's. They sound like there is a thin attenuating barrier between them and my ear, and certain guitar riffs or female voices to not get that penetration that tickles the inside of my skull and could force this mysterious water like substance from my eyes that my former buds could. My Music ranges from Mozart to Operation Ivy to Parov Stelar, and these buds just can't make me tear up, mosh, or shake it like an 'x'ing person on a dancefloor. The SC's could. The lack of volume is probably good for my long term hearing, but sometimes I need that almost painful level to coax the emotion, and these do not have that little extra Oomph. I always preferred the 'no equalizer' with the SC's with most music, but this setting just sounds incredibly dull with these headphones, but none of the preset eq settings can tickle the inside of my skull, nor do they seem to react the same way to changes as did as with the SC's, nor can I tune in the thumping bass or crisp trebles I was used to on the manual 5 band EQ. Not obvious in the photo of these Panasonics is that the rubber buds are offset to the body of the plug and are labeled L and R. I think this design is superior and certainly fits nicer in my ear than the skull candy's which could be inserted into either ear. I never thought the SC's fit poorly, I just noticed these fit better and tugs on the cord will not draw them from my ear as easily. I think the Skull Candy's reduced ambient noise to a greater degree as well, and this might have saved the life of My landlord's skreeching parakeet, may it die a slow painful annoying death soon. Freaking useless animal which fills me with rage. I daydream of killing it with a sledge hammer. The wires themselves are thinner than the SC's and do not have the sliding constrictor to hold the 2 individual leads closer together around my neck, or tight together for wrapping them up for storage, a feature which i liked a lot on the SC's. These thinner wires to not transfer as much rubbing noises to the headphones as the SC's however. The 3.5mm jack has a 90 degree bend on it. Not sure how I feel about that. I think it will stress the plug in the MP3 player itself more, and that is how my last 3 units failed internally. For under 7$ I'm not complaining, much, but the reviews had me expecting a slightly improved sound over my previous headphones, and I'm not finding that true in any degree, and I will be looking for an improvement over both in my next pair in the 20 to 35$ range. I want to see what this Sennheiser buzz is all about.

These earbuds are AMAZING and for UNDER $10?? You CANNOT go wrong here! These earbuds have high ratings for a reason! I wasn't sure how awesome these were going to be when I ordered them, judging from the reviews, I figured they would be good but they blew my mind! These are fantastic! And for this price, I don't imagine you could get much better! They have a nice clear and crisp sound with some really really nice bass. I will put it to you this way.. If you are a dubstep fan, you probably know Bass Cannon by Flux Pavilion.. they can handle it!!! That song has some really loud parts and strong bass sections, the earbuds don't crackle or distort, they give really nice sound. I was listening to it at about 75% volume and it was super loud and super crisp, no reason to turn it up any louder. Another song with really nice underlying bass is Afterglow by Phaeleh, and for those that know it, you know what I'm talking about and these headphones make it sound phenomenal! Not to mention they do a pretty good job and blocking out ambient noise. Some key features of these earbuds are, they are lightweight, have an ergofit design, come in lots of colors, and they feature a 3.6ft cord. One negative thing I would have to say is about the cord.. it tangles VERY easy, but most earbuds do tangle so it's not worth knocking a star off in my opinion. When you buy these earbuds, you will receive the buds with three included sets of earpads (S/M/L) for a custom, and comfortable fit. MAKE SURE you try all three while listening to music. Pick the one that makes the music sound the best to YOUR ears, the better you can hear the better the fit is, so I've found. I originally thought I would need to use the smallest ones, but the sound I could hear out of the medium was better than the sound from the small, meaning the small wasn't fitting just right. So ultimately I went with the medium. It is important that you spend some time choosing the right size because by picking the right size you maximize bass quality. I use these headphones on my "running sunglasses" rig (picture attached) and they sound amazing and they don't fall out while I walk, run, or bike. They were the perfect choice for me for this setup I have. For anyone who wants to try what I've done, I am using these sunglasses: RockBros Polarized Cycling Glasses Sports Glasses Sunglasses Goggles , and an iPod shuffle 2GB (4th Generation). Overall the earbuds were perfect for my needs. I bought them mainly because they were so cheap and I figured if they get messed up while exercising it shouldn't be a huge deal. It's safe to say they exceeding my expectations by a long shot and if you're on the fence about these for whatever reason, don't be. I purchased a pair of these earphones in December 2017 due to the overwhelming number of positive reviews. When they first arrived I was so happy with the sound quality, comfort level in-ear, and their ability to block outside noise. I use my headphones for schoolwork or to watch movies on my computer; I am by no means rough with them, I store them carefully, I'd had my last pair for 8 years, etc. However, only one month after purchase, the left earphone suddenly shorted out and ceased working. I attempted to return them through Amazon and was instead told to contact Panasonic directly. I tried numerous times to use the Panasonic website's live chat support feature but kept getting a message that there were no employees on live chat at this time (no matter what time of day I tried). I then called their 1-888 support number and the first thing the automated message warned me was that I risked being charged a $9.99 service fee for help if I continued with the phone call and if my product turned out not to be covered under warranty. Given that I didn't know if the earphones were still covered under any limited warranty, I opted to just hang up at that point, write off my money spent, and order a second pair. They arrived on January 25, 2018, and again, I was satisfied. Less than two weeks later, while watching a homework video, the right earphone suddenly shorted out and stopped working. I called Panasonic again figuring that this time it had to be covered under some warranty at less than 2 weeks old. The customer service rep sent me the e-mail instructions to submit my proof of purchase for both pairs and I later received an e-mail back with the instructions for shipping the headphones. They stated that I was only allowed to ship the product in one specific type of corrugated cardboard container, that it needed to be certain size of that container, and that I would need to pay for tracking and insurance on the product on top of the shipping. The total amount for shipping cost more than THREE pairs of these headphones and they wouldn't guarantee that they would send me two new pairs to replace the two broken ones. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a purchase from Amazon. I was disappointed and frustrated that I could not conduct my return directly through Amazon and have a replacement sent to me or my money refunded like is usually the case on Amazon, but instead had to do the whole runaround with Panasonic, and I still don't know whether Panasonic will honor its warranty and send me two new pairs. Based on the number of positive reviews for these earphones it seems like I did just get unlucky (twice) with defective pairs, however, if you're one of those unlucky ones you can count your money spent as lost based on the incredible hassle and lack of good customer service to make it right.
