Definitely worth the money!
Works as expected! Easy to install. Switching between computers is quick. I like the port selection. The remote control is a definite plus and having buttons on the switcher is awesome because I have a backup way of switching between computers if the remote control battery dies or the remote control is lost. The included cables are high quality too. It is made of good quality material. I highly recommend!

Paper weight
Update: The seller reached out and made things right, so I'm updating my review. 1 star for the product, but 5 for the seller so I'm averaging to 3 stars. Original Review: I found this when looking for an alternative to a $500 KVM switch, figuring I could manually switch inputs on my monitor to save $450. It worked at first. My mouse would disconnect two or three times during the work day, but that was something I could deal with. Around week three though, the switcher become unreliable to the point of being almost unusable, then died completely a day later. Being within the return policy, I sent it back for a replacement. Round two went exactly the same way, except this time it managed to make it five weeks, putting me a week outside of the return period. TLDR: Avoid at all costs

Does not work with USB storage at 10Gbps
I wanted to like this USB 3.2 Gen 2 switch/hub, but unfortunately it has a significant flaw which defeats the whole reason I got this in the first place. Before that, I will preface with a few positives: - Nice aluminum construction - Clicky buttons - Uses a Genesys Logic GL3590 controller (see the USB details and PCB photos) - Actually works *perfectly* at 5Gbps speeds However, this isn't a 5Gbps USB switch, it's supposed to be a 10Gbps one, and this is where my issues arise. When attaching this hub to a 10Gbps port on a computer, it fails to connect to any USB attached storage! And when it does, the connection is very inconsistent and at worst it will sometimes cause the computer to BSOD (which happened to me a few times already). I've tried different 10Gbps USB cables, different ports, and of course different computers, and the results remain the same: if connected to a 10Gbps USB port, this switch does not work with USB storage. Moreover, I've confirmed the drives themselves work with no issues directly connected to the computer and I have of course used a power supply (as shown in the the review picture) to make sure the drives are getting enough power. But unfortunately, no combination of troubleshooting steps were able to fix this. This switch does work with slower devices like keyboards and mice perfectly fine when connected at 10Gbps, but again, this is supposed to be a 10Gbps USB switch. If I can't use the speed printed on the product, then why use it?

Wow ! works great ,even without dedicated power in, including response to its remote
works great ,even without dedicated power in, including response to its remote. WARNING!!! Batteries do fit inside remote but trick to insertion takes 2 full angry minutes to learn They do fit. Just do not insert too low. I LOVE THIS DEVICE. My 1200.00 KVM died, and I miss its USB HID emulation features, but this cheap KM switch saved me. hurray.

Solidly built.
So, I fried my last USB switch (not this one) by somehow plugging a USB A cable in backwards. I'm still not entirely sure how things moved enough to make that physically possible, but I'm pretty confidant that it simply won't happen with this one. It feels rather solidly built, and the case is metal, not plastic. It works perfectly, it has a good mix of ports on the front, the USB 10Gbit support is very nice to have, and the remote is a great touch. The only reason why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because the indicator lights are really, really small and dim. But the remote works well, the buttons work well, and on the whole, I am quite happy with it.

Works great!
I have three systems in my living room, a gaming pc, a gaming server pc, and a mac pro all plugged into this device. My keyboard is a wired led keyboard (i use the supplemental power for the switch) and i was pleasantly surprised that when the system i’ve selected go to sleep, or are shutdown, it turns off the power to the ports and my keyboard turns off. Once i turn the pc back on and touch a key, it turns back on. I like having the remote. One suggestion though is to get ten foot usb cables along with this if your systems are not close to each other, the included cables are not very long. Remote control is a nice feature to have and can tuck the device away among all the hardware.

Great Little Gadget for Sharing USB Devices Between Computers
Fantastic gadget if you want to share your USB devices across multiple PCs or laptops. The design is sleek, and the remote control is a nice addition, though it feels somewhat unnecessary. It also comes with a USB-C converter head, which is a thoughtful inclusion. Four ports might feel a bit limited, but you can easily connect a USB expansion hub, which also works. The only minor drawback is that switching isn’t instant and it can take a couple of seconds, but overall, I really liked the product and definitely recommend it.

Exactly what I needed!
This is a great product. However, I was using a PS/2 KVM, but the keyboard quit working, plus PS/2 keyboards which used to be inexpensive are not so cheap anymore. Plus, my computer no longer works with PS/2 keyboards. I don’t know if that is a Windows issue or what. So, I needed a switch so I could use USB keyboards and mice. This device fits the bill perfectly. The USB cables provided were too short for my application, and it would have been better if a power supply was included. I bought longer cables and am using a USB charger. Otherwise, I recommend this product.
