Shavings not in a bag but not in a box ... shavings not appropriate for a small animal.
I would give zero stars, the item is not in a bag but a box, the shavings are not suitable for a small animal, they are large shavings. The box is very poorly taped together and the shavings spilling out. I was offered a return but sent a label and expected to pay return postage and carry the large box to the returns dept. The shavings would be all over my car.

Consistently good quality
I have had at least 20 of these for my Guinea Pigs. The product is chipped correctly and doesn't have any dust. They are always well packaged in an airtight bag and protective cardboard.

Great value for money!
My hamster loves snuggling in this sawdust it is very soft and the smell isn’t at all strong! you get a lot for your Moneys worth!

Good Base Layer
I have a gang of guinea pigs and use this product as the base layer of their enclosure. I put straw over then various cardboard tubes and toys and all that good stuff. This wood chip keeps all the excreta away from the actual fabric of the beastie's run so in that respect it makes cleaning very easy. However, the way it clumps makes the actual deep clean an arduous task. I guess it's six of one and half a dozen of the other as to whether this is a labour saver or a bit of pain. In general though, this is a good product for small animal housing.

Good price for product
This was a good price for the amount. But it was far toocuh for my needs, I gave it to the local animal rescue who were very grateful, but a good price and product

Not the best
Big pieces of wood sharp chunks in amongst it

Big wood pieces and not very fine sawdust ! A lot of dust in between! The packaging is very poor, consisting in a thin cardboard and very poor tape. Made a big mess everywhere, as sawdust was coming out around the tape! Fake advertising!
