As someone who loves skincare, this book is a gem! It breaks down routines, ingredients, and techniques in a way that’s super easy to understand. I learned so much about layering products, double cleansing, and what actually works for different skin types. The book is beautifully organized and perfect for beginners or anyone wanting to upgrade their routine. I keep going back to it for tips!

I am a huge fan of Korean Skincare. It has literally transformed my skin. I grew up using only 3 steps and now I think back to how I could not go back to that kind of routine again. Even though it may take me longer each morning and night, in the end it is worth it. My husband has been using this techinque for the past 5 months and I swear it has taken off 10 years from his face. He looks amazing. I think my skin looks pretty good too. This book has showed me all the steps that I need to do each morning, night and what needs to be done on a weekly basis. It is just wonderful to have this book on my vanity guiding me along the way. The author is so warm and inviting and really explains the skincare steps in a very understandable and easy way making it great to learn. Each chapter is filled with so much knowledge. I could not put this book down and read it the whole thing in 2 days because it is that good. This book has expanded my knowledge on Korean Skincare and it was a great read too. The author really knows her stuff. Very happy I purchased this book because it helps me with my skincare and makes me feel good about myself. I would recommend this book to my fellow shoppers.

This is very much just about Korean skincare and doesn't attempt to cover a broader scope so no would recommend this for someone who already knows about skincare but wants to learn more about Korean skincare. I wanted to learn more about skincare science and this wasn't the right book for that. I wish there was more information about other more common ingredients and that actual research studies were referenced. It's simple and easy to read but it does only cover the surface. For example, it mentions not mixing incompatible ingredients but doesn't explain what those incompatabilies are. Also, there are a couple bits of info that are out of date as of 2024. Over all its an easy read without going to much in depth.

As a licensed esthetician, I highly recommend this guide to clients who want to deepen their skincare knowledge. The Korean Skincare Bible beautifully captures the essence of K-beauty — balance, prevention, and consistency. I was pleasantly surprised by this book – I found that it laid out the basics of the Korean Skincare routine in a way that wasn't intimidating yet easy enough to follow and understand. It goes through the steps of each product, its purpose, and a basic day and night routine. I also appreciate that there was a small section covering beauty routines. I also appreciate that this point goes straight to the point – I also have the "Little Book of Skincare" by Charlotte Cho, which while also helpful, is peppered with a lot of life anecdotes and I much prefer having a book that focuses on the facts/gets to the point of the routine early on. If you're of a similar mind, pick this one over the Little Book of Skincare. The only small, but disappointing part of the book was the discussion about BB and CC creams. The "Q&A" section had a question along the lines of "these products are in such a limited shade range" which the answer was basically "yeah of course they are, what do you expect?" Which in my opinion was a bit weird considering this book is clearly for an international audience, so I'd like to think they'd understand that there's enough interest for a larger shade range. That was minor and overall, not enough to diminish the usefulness of the book but I found it a weird inclusion. I would highly recommend this, and I do think it is a very helpful book overall.

As a licensed esthetician. This is a great way to introduce Korean skin care or follow a routine from the culture. It goes into depth of skin type/ condition, product knowledge, helps you create a routine from beginner to expert to a busy person who travels a lot

This is an excellent book for Korean skincare. I started doing a double cleanse before I read this book and I was amazed at how much better my skin looked. I needed to know more and this gives you lots of information, tips and product recommendations by skincare business owners. Highly recommended.

Ich habe lange herum überlegt, ob ich mir dieses Buch wirklich bestellen soll. Liest man denn wirklich ein ganzes Buch über koreanische Hautpflege? Oder mutiert das einfach direkt zum Staubfänger? Ich habe es gestern bekommen und bin mittlerweile auf Seite 115 von 189. Ich liebe es! + alles ist ganz einfach und übersichtlich erklärt + Design ist wunderschön und Schrift gut lesbar + die Inhalt sind in kurzen Kapitel aufgeteilt, sodass man sehr schnell zurückfindet, wenn man nochmal etwas bestimmtes nachlesen will + es gibt eine Zusammenfassung am Ende jedes Kapitels inklusive konkreter Produktempfehlungen + großer Lerneffekt - mir wird zu wenig auf die verschiedenen Hauttypen eingegangen; z.B. bei den Produktempfehlungen werden immer einfach 3 Produkte (zB 3 verschiedene Toner) empfohlen, aber da steht nicht, welches für meinen Hauttyp geeignet ist. - generell ist das ganze Buch mehr eine allgemeine Einführung in koreanische Hautpflege; wer hofft, hier auf eine konkrete Lösung für ein Problem wie z.B. Akne oder Ekzemen zu stoßen, wird enttäuscht werden - nichts für Leute, die schon die Basics koreanischer Hautpflege kennen; das Buch richtet sich an Anfänger - finanzieller Ruin: nach Lesen dieses Buches will man am Liebsten seine gesamten Ersparnisse in Pflegeprodukte investieren (geht zumindest mir so) Alles in allem hat das Buch meine Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Ich kannte mich vorher gar nicht mit koreanischer Hautpflege aus und hatte auch bisher keine Routine außer abschminken und Sonnencreme. Ich habe viel gelernt und werde mich definitiv auch noch weiter mit diesem Thema beschäftigen.
