I have dashcam in all of my vehicles. I've tried multiple brands. I have the vantrue n4 with all the added accessories. I was made aware of this new 360 dash cam from vantrue and have to try it out. First of all, it's nice to see that they included the mount with gps to the unit already. It was an added option for the N4. Hardwire kit is still an option but I got one with this to maximize all it's features. This also has a rear camera as an option. Since im installing it on a small 2 sester car, having the rear camera is not needer. First impression, the unit is fairly compact. Screen is standard size for dash cam which but its touch screen. Initial setup was was easy. For memory card, I initially used a 128gb sandisk endurance from my other dash cam. But I constantly get a warning that "card slow". So I have to get a vantrue memory card which cost twice compared to sandisk equivalent. The app is easy to use. Wifi connection is easy. Each 360 file is 1gb for a 5 minute file. But I was able to transfer files within 15 seconds. Parking mode and collision detection works nice. It drains your battery quick if you park on a busy area since the camera will be on for the whole duration you're park. Video quality is good let's you do different types of angles. I opted to do the 360 panoramic mode for now since this is what's unique about this dash cam. Seeing an uncut view interior and exterior is a nice feature. Driving against the sun, the front camera is basically blind. But any camera would do the same thing. What's good about 360 dash cam is it doubles as a 360 handheld camera. I'm planning to get the handheld mount and try this as a handheld 360 camera feature.

when I needed it the most (got into a collision) it captured it correctly. The pedestrian side swiped my car too so I was able to get that claim too due to the wide angle capture. Sometimes the wifi goes on and off but I’m driving and don’t need to connect it to my phone.

If I could warn the entire universe not to buy this dash cam, I absolutely would. We purchased ours in January 2025, and now, six months later in July, it has been nothing but a frustrating, unreliable disaster. The issues are nonstop: constant “slow card” warnings (even with their recommended SD card), freezing, glitching, random shutdowns, and failure to record — all while driving. And those are just the problems I can remember. There have been more, but at this point, I’ve lost count. Customer service is responsive, but not helpful. Every reply is a repeat of the same basic script: Reformat the SD card Restart the dash cam Wipe the card Buy a new SD card (again, we already bought the exact model listed on their own website) They have not offered a replacement of the unit and just keep asking us to perform the same fixes over and over — fixes that do not last and often aren’t practical while you're actively driving. That’s the part they don’t seem to grasp: dash cams are meant to just work. You shouldn’t have to pull over or troubleshoot when you're on the road or running late. And don’t even bother filing with the BBB — the company already has an F rating and multiple unresolved complaints. That alone should have been a warning sign. If you're thinking of buying this dash cam, please reconsider. Unreliable recording defeats the entire purpose of having a dash cam. This company needs to step up their support or stop selling entirely.

Really disappointed having to return it after only using for three days. Dash Cam started power cycling on and off will not stop. Upon doing some research I guess it is a known problem.
