This is a good, small sized and therefore very portable soft-box with Bowens mount. I use it with an LED lamp, but it would work equally well with studio flash. It seems a bit fiddly when first assembling it as the click-in slots are quite stiff both in opening up and closing down again. However, once you get the hang of it, it works very well and is highly effective in use, with its inner and outer diffraction scrims. In general, you get what you pay for, but I have to say that Neewer products are getting better and good and continue to provide good value, so while this might not be the best on the market, it does not fall too short of the mark overall. Recommended.

I saw a video of this being used & the images being produced were beautiful & noticed how soft the light was considering how small this modifier is . I've used it a few times now & was blown away how good it was . I dont like to travel with huge big soft boxes as it is not practical in my run & gun type of model photography I do so the fact it comes in its own small bag & is so so lightweight is perfect . its easy to use & only takes 30 seconds to pull out & mount on a S-type bracket . i have used my godox ad200 as the light source & this seems a perfect combination with this modifier .

Pretty standard softbox that does the job, nothing to complain about with it.

The application of this softbox is phenomenal! It provides classic soft but crisp light, perfect for professional portrait studios. I've used it for shooting portraits and events like weddings and corporate gatherings on location, and the results are outstanding. The high reflectivity of the collapsible nylon cover with silver particle inner baffle and diffusers ensures even lighting and softens the flash light beautifully. The Bowens mount design is a huge plus, allowing flexible use with various studio flashes. Plus, the special design makes it incredibly convenient to set up and fold down, and the included carrying bag makes storage and transportation a breeze. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it to any photographer looking to elevate their portrait game.

Quick to setup and put away. Useful as a portable light softener when on location shoots. Feels a little flimsy but only time will tell. Seems good value for the price.

Very easy and quick to assemble and with the Bowens mount, so easy to attach to the CB60B video light. One tip here attach the light to the softbox, before putting the light on a stand, as it's much easier than trying to mount on a light on a stand. The softbox is lined with silver so very reflective and comes with two white diffusers that are easy to attach. It gives off a really nice soft diffused light, which given the octagonal shape can be directed and has limited spill. There are some plastic fittings, so not sure how robust it will be over time, but given the price great value for money.

It's not that cheap when you take quality into account. You would be better off spending anothe £10.00 or £20.00 and get proper professional quality products.

This is the second 90cm Octagonal Softbox from Neewer I've purchased. It works well with my led bowen mount lights providing a soft pleasing light. The quick release makes setting up quick and easy. I leave the white diffuser material in the light which makes setup fast. It takes a bit of strength to get the first few guides to lock in, but once you've got a few in, its a breeze. The light that the softbox produces is soft and wraps around your subject. The light also comes in a solid carry bag which helps protect it. I intend to use this in the field with continuous lights and I'm confident it will hold up well.

Poor persons’ MagBox! Really great quality. Much easier to carry with other gear. Two layers of defussion. Does the job and is super easy and quick to set up and break down. Would buy in different sizes, too.

Exactly what I was looking for to match up with my Godox monolights. Soft boxes can be awkward to assemble but this one was simple and efficient. Nothing overly fancy here, just a good quality light modifier as a very reasonable price.
