This USB dongle turned my old Dell Optiplex into a Bluetooth capable PC. It works well with an Xbox controller and Bluetooth headphones 🎧 that I wear while playing Fortnite! The blue marking on it lets me know its Bluetooth. I am very happy with this item.

Quit working after about 30 hours of use. JUNK. Never again. So this is a Downgraded Hakimone USB Adapter!

Pretty bland title, huh? I tried it out on my HP Probook laptop that doesn't have onboard Bluetooth. Installation was very straightforward and driverless. Uses the MS generic bluetooth driver so there was no configuration required under Windows 10 or 11. I tested connecting wireless earbuds (Samsung, and no-name Temu Chinesium Specials), transferring files between two Windows devices, and connecting to my Vector robot. There was no trouble with earbuds or talking to Vector, but file transfer was breathtakingly, ball-punchingly, slow. Zero stars on that one, can't recommend. HOWEVER, once I set up Windows Phone Connect and transferred the same movie from my phone to the laptop, it was at least 20x faster so maybe it's a Windows issue. I then tested it on another laptop running vanilla Debian Linux (lastest of everything). No trouble with earbuds, but I could not get it to transfer a file to my Windows 11 desktop to save my life. Because that's not a common "consumer" use case, I didn't take off very much for that. My conclusion? If you need Bluetooth support on a device that doesn't have native hardware, this is an economical way to get you there. Don't expect blazing file transfer speed, but compatibility with bluetooth clients was better than I expected for a no-name generic dongle. I'd pay for it.

Just what my laptop needed to get the bluetooth to work better. Was breaking up before and reinstalling the drivers was not doing anything. Make sure to disable your original bluetooth first.

I can't figure out how to use it. I guess it is not for a chromebook?

Tried 3 adaptors that supposedly work on Linux Mint, but didn't. This adaptor works perfectly on Linux Mint (check blueman is installed and updated & unblock with rfkill, if it doesn't work out of the box). Just what I needed for transferring files from my mobile to the PC.

Omg spent 2 days faffing with fulgaz cycle app on thevm pc. My Bluetooth would not connect to the kicker core! Bought this..plugged it in, auto loaded the driver, picked up the trainer in a few seconds, I needed bluetooth BLE for fulgaz to work.

Very fast, signal strength very good no drivers needed, works straight out the box.

Never really worked. Initially I thought it was me not knowing how to connect it properly, or that I have done something wrong. I left it on the side. Now that I need it again (due to moving house and cancelling my broadband) I tried using it, and it says Driver Error.
