It was a little hard to figure out but once I got it. It works great.

Great product overall! The usage and assembly directions were a little lacking in some details; even so, it was pretty easy! It's just a board with pre-drilled holes and different sizes of dowel rods. I swore the dowels were too big and would not fit into the holes, and I was amazed when they did fit! You might want to use a rubber mallet-I used a very, very old and well used claw hammer which left the tops of the dowels a bit dirty.Now for the first use! The spool holder was a great touch. I find my spool of ribbon gets in my way a lot, so keeping it in one place was a bonus for me. I have a harder time holding the ribbon tightly as I form the bow than I once did, and this tool completely solved that problem for me. The dowels are a bit angled and the ribbon is held snuggly between the two larger dowels. The base has measurements which were great for helping keep the bow symmetrical. I also found myself using the measurement markings for other items in my project as it was just handy to use.The enclosed pamphlet had instructions for making several different types of bows. I used one of them for that project. I typically toss those pamphlets immediately, but I did keep this one as I think it will be useful for future projects.My one complaint is that even after reading the pamphlet and using the product, I haven't been able to figure out the purpose for the shortest dowel rod in the front. I am sure it has a use, I just don't know what it is.

This product is awesome! It makes bow making fun and easy. Every bow turns out beautiful in what ever size you make, from one ribbon to four ribbons. It is well worth the money.

There's nothing you can not do with the bow maker. So easy and you can create such unique and beautiful bows. Many different sizes to suit.....

I WATCHED A COUPLE OF YOU TUBE VIDEOS BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS SO I KNEW IT WOULD BE EASY TO USE. EVEN THOUGH I KNOW HOW TO MAKE LARGE BOWS WITHOUT THE BOW MAKER, THIS GIVES ADDED DIMENSIONS TO THE BOWS I WILL MAKE. SO I AM PLEASED. I HAVE ALREADY MADE ONE BOW FROM SOME SCRAPE RIBBONS I HAD AND IT LOOKS GREAT.
