Will this support an electric hoist that can lift 1,000 lbs?

You cannot support 1000 lbs with this Uchannel. There is no margin of safety. You NEED an engineer to plan that.

How much weight can this support hanging via a trolley system?

o Far 200lb have not tested it for more than that. I am sure they way it is supported has a lot to do with the weight capacity. I used 3 Channel Trolley Track Support Hanger securing with bolts. like I said it holds 200# with no issues

How do you attach this to a beam and studs? What parts are needed that fit?

I got this product and cut it into 12 4” pieces for a network project. Nice quality, used it with channel nuts to attach 3 1/2” ring clamps to secure my PCV conduit run in place. Once those things were bolted in, they weren’t going anywhere.
