Can barely see it.
I put this on the T-Top track of my 1990 Camaro after a new paint job. Didn't even think about constantly removing and putting them back equaled chipping off the paint. Oof! After some digging, I found this tape as it was super thin, and strong. Reading some negative reviews- I think most issues might be from faulty installation. Clean the surface with Denatured Alcohol *Install this on a warm day- Heat is your best friend. You can make it bend around small curves and corners. Just keep tension on it while you're pulling it over a curve. Peel off the back liner half way through so you can still align the tape without fiddling with some giant, long piece of sticky tape. Once it's completely down, put your finger on the halfway point to tack it down... push heavily outward to get all air out. Use a squeegee/credit card to push it into the grooves. Just remember water will get in anywhere, so make sure it's secure and pressed down hard. I use my fingernails on the edges. Once my tape was down, you can't really see it. Very happy with this product.... It's all about prep work and application. Don't rush it. It rained the day after I put it on but it's still sticking very well.

Decent Value and Usability for Price
First time using PPF as a long time vinyl user. Was relatively easy to apply, stretched more than I expected. Looks good, decent quality. Functionality wise it worked well, I used this on new Corvette headlight lenses.

Best money I’ve spent in a while
I purchased this film to cover up some piano black interior pieces on a car I just bought. I must say, in all honesty, if you cut your edges correctly along the edge of the piece, it is nearly invisible. I was hesitant to purchase a bunch of ppf’s that I looked at because I was afraid of orange peel. Once the slip solution I used evaporated, there was no change in texture. I purposely stopped midway through the job and had multiple coworkers look to see if they could tell which pieces were wrapped and which were stock. 1 out of 8 of them was able to tell. It was only because the sun reflects a little different off the ppf. That’s understandable though because of the difference in materials, ppf is tpu and the interior pieces are abs. I’m very impressed with the product and would recommend it to anyone.

i used it on headlights to avoid UV oxidation
worked great for my projects, one of which involved a rather complex headlight. the film is super elastic when heated up, the UV protection seems good too. no headlight lens oxidation after a year of arizona full sun and w/o a film the headlights oxidate over the summer, by the second year the plastic is completely opaque. can be applied w/ or w/o water.

Good luck!
I’ve wrapped three of my jeeps plus many other miscellaneous parts and pieces with vvivids air release vinyl and I’ve become pretty good at installing it, it’s entirely different than this stuff and easy to work with and always good results. I attempted to apply this stuff wet and it’s a nightmare on a large area. Hard to conform and unforgiving, and the water bubbles were impossible to get out. I was able to do a couple sills with it and the small areas were pretty easy. Be prepared for frustration and a waste of time if you’re trying to do a large area such as the front of a hood. In the end I wasted well over an hour in prep and trying to apply before tossing it in the trash. Unless you’re a pro, Good luck!

Doesn't apply well compared to 3M
I have wrapped 2 bicycles now with the vvivid 3m paint protection film, I figured vvivid would know what they are doing, well, I'm not impressed at all. Despite watching all the videos and reading the marketing heres the thing. The glue seems hydrophobic, it doesnt like to stay wet I've fought with water bubbles before but never air like this. The glue hates rubbing alcohol, i tried to tach the edges and using distilled water with 25% rubbing alcohol was not working at all, it seemed to make it less adhesive Doesnt have enough adhesion so i had to cut it at tight bends rather than stretching it, it pulls back up, and you think heat would help right? Wrong, I hit it with heat and it wouldnt stick until it cooled down. I am skeptical of the thickness and durability of this product compared to the 3m. I have 3 rolls in different diameters, and they all behaved the same way. I usually take about 3 hours, I took 6 this time and the results are sub-par. Not sure what your professionals can pull of but for me, this was a pretty negative experience compared to the 3m which was fairly user friendly.

Its a great tape to protect the paint on your vehicle- only downside is if you apply another tape on top of VViViD Barricade Clear - such as 3m VHB tape, it does not hold as well as you want it to. Could be the gloss finish, not sure. I would recommend this product as the top protection agent to holding down decal edges, or something similar. Great product nonetheless.

Great PPF, first time trying it and it’s a learning experience. Used it for my headlights after a restoration to protect against the elements. Be sure to stretch accordingly and use slip solution, as well as a tack solution to prevent edges from lifting and slipping as you work.

This stuff is a complete waist of time and money, stuff barley stics to the vehicle, the tacky surface wont even capture a misquito a quick pass with an air line and the whole sheet came off like nothing. Your not saving money by buying this. Theres a reason is only 45 bucks for 96" And upon return, you only get back the purchase cost, not the tax or shipping you may have paid,. Do your self a huge favour and go to a cutom shop that does PPF ,have them put it on real ppf material, and not vapor barrier🙄, if your not happy with there work, they have ta do it again. So if you buy this....dont say i dint worn you😉 B.t.w. If i could have left this with "0" stars i would have, but tgey wont let me post with out at least 1 star🤨
