I bought the Microsoft Surface Pro Copilot+ PC for my daughter as she was starting university. My goal? Reduce the weight in her backpack and make studying feel less like a chore and more like a choice. Mission accomplished. This sleek 13" touchscreen device is incredibly lightweight—perfect for long campus days—and the Snapdragon X Plus chip keeps everything running smoothly. She’s not just using it for notes and assignments; she’s exploring, creating, and genuinely enjoying the process. It’s become her study buddy, not just another screen. She’s now heading into her second year, fully committed to her education, and I truly believe this device helped spark that shift. If Microsoft ever wants feedback from real families using their tech in the wild, I’d be happy to share more

Excellent performance, runs copilot seamlessly. Looks great. Solid build quality and stylus is a bonus.

After moving to ARM, the surface has insane battery life and thermal throttling is a thing of the past. I can play a decent amount of indie steam games (think Hollow Knight, Ori, Stardew) and not get thermal throttled at all. It also handles emulation up to the PS2(most games*)/PSP like a champ (many ARM versions exist for emulators now too, so thats a plus!) Honestly, microsoft did good here. You can still run traditional exes built for x86/x64 and it will emulate the instructions to ARM (very cool) and it runs native ARM executables. I'm not a huge fan of its dedicated weird charging port... and I had to get a stronger usb cable for charging and a stronger battery bank that supported the wattage required for this thing to even recognize it as a charger for whatever reason.. But otherwise good.

I've traveled for years with a laptop for work and a second tablet for airplanes (and occasional other times). Since I'm retiring in a couple of months, I wanted to pare down what I carry and decided to commit to trying the Surface Pro 11. I've been extremely pleased. It's quick and very capable, and works so well with the Surface Pro keyboard and pen. It is a solid PC with that keyboard and a responsive, capable tablet without it. Battery life is also excellent compared to other PCs or Windows-based tablets I've used. I had concerns about some of the software I use not working with the Snapdragon X processor but I've had no issues, and more and more apps are being adapted to it every month. Several reviewers commented that Google Drive didn't work on it, but that was addressed by Google in early Dec 2024 and it works flawlessly. I also use Quicken, WhatsApp, Davinci Resolve, and Firefox without issues. I did order an anti-glare screen protector (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYGYVFVW) because the glare can be significant in certain lighting situations. I also ordered some small USB-A to USB-C adapters (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PDLQ555) so that I have the option to connect USB-A devices (a docking station/adapter is overkill for my needs). Overall, I'm quite happy with this PC/Tablet combo. I've been using it as my primary (non-work) computer for almost 2 weeks now and am very satisfied.

got this after my laptop met an untimely death. I just graduated from my grad program so no longer need something super heavy duty. chose this for its smaller size and portability and ability to use as a tablet for taking notes by hand. has done everything I want it to. only glitch so far is I had to restart it once as it refused to connect to my pro flex keyboard but all has been good since it restarted and has not happened again.
