New Balance Men's Dynasoft Tektrel V1 Trail Running Shoe

Old, tired, new knees, like to walk in the woods for exercise - that describes me. Great fit, great comfort, aggravating laces - that describes these shoes. Got a great price on these. They are trail shoes and provide great traction and generally keep crap out of my socks and the shoes. I probably have 100 miles on them now and they've held up well. Only downside is the lace "system", the laces drop through the eyelets to a cord loop that makes adjusting them a bit of a pain. That said, I'll reconfigure the laces and keep on trucking. very comfortable, have toe bumpers to protect my tootsies off trail and keep my big toes from cutting their way out.

Folks, I am 57 years old, and have been buying New Balance sneakers for well over 3 decades.. I have always appreciated the company’s dedication to providing a high quality product that ‘everyone can wear’ to get good foot support – walking, jogging, running, or even hiking – instead of just selling out and peddling high priced sneakers with celebrity sports star endorsements.. As I get older, I don’t like ‘white sneakers’ as much as I used to.. Too hard to keep clean!! LOL.. And, sometimes I would even complain – Hey! New Balance! Love your sneakers!! But can you please stop with the new model numbers every few weeks? Good Lord! The 608s became 623s, and on and on!! Hey, New Balance!!! I just want a pair of sneakers, not a Bingo game!! LOL.. Anyway, I went shopping on Amazon for a new pair of New Balance sneakers.. No white.. I wanted a pair with some color that would not need to be scrubbed with a ‘Mr. Clean Magic Eraser’ every time I walked on my lawn to fill the birdfeeder.. And I saw these sneakers.. New Balance Dynasoft Tektrel V1 Trail Running Shoes.. And I fell in love! New Balance was offering them in a variety of colors, but the ‘Black Phantom Magnet’ color really appealed to me, so I took a chance and ordered a pair.. Couple of notes – ** I ordered these on December 12, and they just came on February 4.. But they were worth the wait! ** Fit is -as always from New Balance - as expected! ** Superb quality materials and construction, as always! ** My pics cannot do these sneakers justice.. They are simply wonderful, and they look great – even out of the box before I bothered tying the laces!! ** I cannot rate their performance on a hiking trail yet, but the ‘design of the soles’ on these sneakers looks to be ‘aggressive’ enough to handle many different surfaces, providing excellent traction while also providing support and comfort to the foot.. ** The ‘lacing structure’ of these sneakers is really cool!! The laces lace up at both the ‘tongue’ of the sneaker and the sides of the sneaker all the way down to the top of the sole.. The whole thing looks nice and I would imagine also provides extra support.. Bottom Line – I highly recommend these sneakers! Another great product by the legendary New Balance! 5 Stars!!!

Oh MY GOD! SO.... somehow I made it to age 33 without ever wearing even 1 comfortable shoe in my whole life.....but this shoe lol wow! I usually wear the more stylish vans or adidas those are my go to shoes but I've been hiking lately every weekend and have had blisters on the back of my ankles for months and foot aches- such pain, makes hikes take forever and sometimes i slip and fall..... I wore these on my 8 mile hike up and down steep and slippery rocks and valleys and all sorts of different terrain, my feet feel great the next day. While wearing them i feel SO PLANTED , i'ts really such an incredible feeling to have a usable hiking shoe lol .... they aren't bad looking for a hiking shoe i actually think they're oddly cute but omg dude, I love these... so necessary. 10000000% recommend. I ordered my regular size converted to mens but and returned /had to go up a half size for a better feel and so glad I did. Ah!!!! I can't say enough about these amazing shoes lol. Light breathable comfortable grippy planting -perfect shoes!!!!

Great shoes, look amazing feel awesome and look like they would have been super comfortable had they have fit me properly. It was totally my fault I’m in between a 10-10 1/2 and I have not owned to many pairs of new balances in my life. I’m bummed that they are/was to small length wise…..they look good with jeans and have plenty of traction for those areas of the U.S. that get that snow/ice!! Something to think about if looking for a great winter weather shoe. ** I gave a 4-star due to the longevity of the returning process!!! I’ve done similar with other shoes/companies on the Amazon and had it within a few days if not right away! But hey it’s partly my fault for not guessing the right size lol.

Great fitting shoe, with tons of cushion. These are perfect for walking on hiking trails or any outdoor activity. Completely worth the cost for a long lasting, perfect shoe.

Not the best looking shoes aesthetically, but very comfortable and durable. They breathe really well but don't wear them in wet weather. Great if you're someone who gets hot feet. Nice support. Fit true to size.

These shoes are great quality and so comfortable to wear the fit is excellent! They provide a ton of support as I am on my feet all day at work. The color is great as well not too bright but still giving off a pop of green. Love them
