Lots of salt for the money
Lots of salt for the money. I use this for white vinegar and salt weed killer. I also use it in a Bug A Salt fly killer.

bag split and contents in box
bag had a split in it and part of the contents were in the box. photo 5 is very miss leading. It shows bits/granular not the fine salt l received. Works fine but not what l was expecting.

Going nuclear on patio weeds!
The last 4 years I've tried absolutely everything on our large block paved area to get rid of weeds and they still always return no sooner than I killed them/removed them. So took a new approach - burn them first with my weed blow torch (highly recommended) then brush salt into all the cracks and hope they don't return. I have experimented and left a couple of sample areas where there is no salt. Where I have laid the salt not a single weed has returned and it's also killed off any moss or lichen. Where there is no salt the weeds still thrive. It's been a good 6 weeks now since I've laid the salt and let is disolve into the cracks. I'm betting that I will not see another weed in the areas that I've salted this year based on these results. It's a very cheap way to kill weeds and provided you can ensure salt doesn't contaminate you garden (which I can), it's definitely the best option I've found. Just wish I'd discovered this process 4 years ago!! Update: as of beginning of October still no weeds!!

Value for money, thickness and flavour
I'm not quite sure why Amazon is prompting me to use the terms "value for money", "thickness" or "flavour" but I am nothing if not obliging, so here goes: 1. value for money - seems to be. I mean I did pay an amount of money for an appropriate amount of salt. 2. Thickness - the product is made up of ultra small grains of salt. Super thin on their own, but I guess you could line them up side by side if you want them thicker. 3. Flavour - salty. This took me by surprise, so if you were expecting your salt to be less salty I suggest you try something else, like a banana or a fish. Of course if you buy a fish please be aware that salt water fish may be salty.

Alternative to Weedkiller.
I use this product as an alternative to weedkiller . I add approximately 1KG of salt to one full (2G) watering can and stir well before applying to desired to affected area. So far it is working very well and is cheaper and more effective than many well known brands of weedkiller.
