Almost perfect, but gets the job done
I was a bit sceptical at the begging because I couldn't find many reviews online but I decided to buy it anyway. Very good quality in the packaging and also in the trimmer itself. Comes with a lot of accessories, including the guards combs and the little screwdrivers to remove and adjust the blade. It's very easy to use and handle as it's very compact. The only downside it's not being waterproof, but you get a little brush if you want to clean the blade from the hair.

The default setting on this machine should of been checked before leaving the factory . Cutting blade in front of safety blade completely destroyed a clients neck first time been used .

I have the clipper & trimmer set for the Gold Fresh Fades, and I've had the Onyx Clipper for over a year now. This was a minor addition which I felt necessary so that I would have the complimentary trimmer to go with my Onyx Clipper; at least I thought that this was a minor upgrade until I used it on a beard trim. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TRIMMER!!! I didn't realize how comfortably the added finger groove on the back would make this trimmer while holding it at different angles during a beard trim! That finger groove is the perfect place for my thumb while I am getting the perfect line-up on a beard. As I stated earlier, I had the Gold Fresh Fade Trimmer but that doesn't have the finger groove in the back and I never really thought to highly of the groove while using my Onyx Clipper; but after having it on the Onyx Trimmer, I think this might be the best enhancement jRL ever made to the design of the Fresh Fades!!! That finger groove gives such an enhanced tactile placement for my thumb that it enhances my confidence in being able to work at abstract angles without feeling like the trimmer might slip out of my fingers. Enhanced confidence means enhanced performance!!! In Summary, this trimmer is money! As much as I love my gold set, I would recommend that if you are buying a set of Fresh Fades, you either buy the Onyx or the Ghost because they are the ones with the finger groove; and you REALLY want the finger groove. Oh and yeah, this thing has great battery life, a blade which cuts a pretty spiffy line-up, yada yada yada.... You hopefully already knew jRL made a great wireless clipper; I didn't realize how big a deal I would make out of a finger groove!!! Buy the Trimmer!!!
