Oh, my - I did some research on niacinamide and the skin - the list of possible benefits is amazing. Niacinamide (also called nicotinamide) is a type of vitamin B-3. Using it on your skin may help treat acne and eczema, may reduce inflammation and redness, and possibly minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Yay, I'm all for that! More research is needed, however. And noticeable improvements may take 4 weeks or more, although there's no exact time line, according to what information I found. It's recommended to use this serum before moisturizing. It is a 10% solution , so you don't have to lather it on, as 5% is suggested as a possibly effective concentration, which means the bottle should last for a decent period of time. If you have sensitive skin, they recommend a patch test. Put a small dab on your forearm, massage it in, and wait 24 hours, and check for any side effects. After that, you are good to go. It feels good on my skin, hoping for some great results. :-)

Works Well for Combination Skin
So far, I like how this serum is working for my skin. Especially in controlling the oil without causing any dryness, leaving a nice matte finish. Although it's recommended to follow with a moisturizer, I find it works best for me on its own, it keeps my skin balanced and oily free without drying it out. The serum absorbs quickly with a hint of tacky feel that fades shortly after application. It has a small amount of gel like, milky white texture, and goes on smoothly. I started noticing results by day 5, with my skin feeling balanced, pores unclogged, and my face feeling refreshed.
