The theme is a light-hearted plot of a diamond heist, but the author’s sense of humour is.. unusual. I haven’t found one joke remotely funny, and I wonder if English is actually his second language? There’s no link back to AI or ML at all in the first 100 pages, and while the pace is easy going, it is hard to see the relevance of the material. Honestly I think the book could be much improved. Perhaps I will try Probability for Dummies instead, before going on to more targeted ML probability texts.

A struggle
I’m struggling with this book, now 100 pages in. The theme is a light-hearted plot of a diamond heist, but the author’s sense of humour is.. unusual.
