My lamp works!
This worked great for me fixing my old lamp. Overall it was easy to replace. Don’t be like me tie a wire on the old cord before you pull it out. That cost me time but it was no fault of the socket kit.

This is really good and easy to install. I bought 5 for my lawn light installation !! No problem so far. The reason it only 4 stars because once the shells are attached together, it extremely difficult to remove them!!! No redo

Easy, ready to install kit. Rewired a lamp from the 1940s was so simple with this kit.

Do NOT Buy This Product!!
I tried for FIVE hours to get this stupid switch to work on my old lamp... At one point, the lamp did turn on. But then again, off. This is a complete piece of junk in my opinion. I would suggest that you look for a more quality replacement part from a more reputable company so you avoid the huge waste of time that I went through trying to get this stupid switch to work.
