I don't know where else to buy these Genuine Subaru Oil Filters other than here on Amazon. There are so many copies of this filter that are lower quality and not OEM. My mechanic told me to ALWAYS use these original filters to avoid problems with the Boxer motor in my wife's car. They have to say "MADE IN JAPAN" on the box. The only other place I have seen these filters sold is at the dealership where they want $40 for the same exact filter. This is a far better value at $15.29 each!

If you’re looking for a genuine filter for your Outback from Japan then you’ve found it. I’ve used these in 2 oil changes now with no flow issues in my 23’ OBW. They fit and seal perfectly. They are obviously authentic as they have the 8 dots of glue that Tokyo Roki uses to seal the filter box. Great purchase if this is what you’re looking for

Good filter especially for Subaru when the filter is inverted on top of the motor don't skimp because these have a check valve not to lose oil because they are mounted upside down.

Exactly what you’d expect from a genuine Subaru oil filter. Fit perfectly and works great for regular oil changes. Nice to be able to get the OEM part online instead of running to the dealership.

Bought two different times and its the original JDM 160 filter made in Japan, keep seeing some reviews saying its the India Manufacture but not for me.
