Kiss Land

Awesome seaglass color and awesome album. Works as expected. My only complaint is the outside cover is too thick and it doesn't fit in an outer record sleeve even though it is made for single and double. You kind of have to use the outside cover as an outer sleeve an hope it doesn't cause ring ware.

Kissland is possibly The Weeknd’s best album, maybe i’m a bit biased since it’s my personal favorite of his 😭 but i’m glad that this is in my collection as it is an absolute gem and the packaging is beautiful, along with the songs

this album is without a doubt my favorite Weeknd album, and the vinyl compliments it. The packaging is amazing, the sound quality is amazing. Perfect 10/10

I've listened to abel for about six years now but haven't really gotten into his music in depth until recently but now I realize that I was missing out. Kiss land is unlike any other album I've heard and creates such a unique atmosphere. In an interview abel describes kiss land as a world inspired by tour and the places outside of his home in Toronto that he's made up. It supposed to be new and more spacious than Trilogy which is evident in his exploration lyrically and sonically. Upon the first few listens, this album may seem one dimensional and like all the songs sound the same but with time and some investigation into the lyrics, its clear that he is telling a story. (one that he says that no one should be able to relate to as a whole since it is a world he created himself.) If you haven't already, I highly suggest watching the music videos that he put out with this album (especially belong to the world. its one of his best videos but is also one of the least watched on his channel.) I also think that these songs can be hard to listen to when not together, but if you listen to them as an album, they're very cohesive and piece together perfectly. As far as the quality of the vinyl goes, the color is gorgeous and the packaging is so well throughout! I listened to it all the way through and it skipped one word during the town but besides that, it is honestly better sounding than the majority of other vinyls I've bought in the past. If you haven't listened to kiss land or haven't listened to it in depth, you're missing out. (my favorite tracks include belong to the world, pretty, tears in the rain, the town and adaptation but they're all amazing.)

First time I ordered i had trouble finding the package but thank you to the seller who understood and I’m grateful to finally have this vinyl. Came wrapped and was not broken.

It's Kiss Land. The Weeknd's piece de resistance. What more could you ask for? From evening sexy mood to twisted carnivalesque vibe, this album is sensual, dark, demented, self-loathing but always beautiful. If you're looking for an interesting blend of House, Hip Hop, Soul, etc, look no further than Kiss Land. For those of you wanting a Pt.2, "My Dear Melancholy, " (yes, comma included) comes pretty close to it, it was just released last month and it's a call-back to this sort of, well, melancholic Kiss Land vibe. For perspective, I come from a deep background of classic rock and R&B, but also classical voice like Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, etc. Transitioning to this artist wasn't a total cakewalk (I hadn't listened to any modern "pop" since the 2000s) but it was a pleasant, surprising effort once I let myself just listen. And now I'm hooked. You can't deny Abel (The Weeknd) has a voice that sings even angry african bees to total peace. Just take a listen and thank me later.

Box came with some minor scratches here and there, i mostly use the vinyls for decoration. But i've tried to put them on a record, and sadly they're a lil bit warped so all the songs get skipped in sections. But nothing extremely serious.
