The magic elixir
Rated by the industry for reviving and cleaning dirty potentiometers or scratchy faders, and any other bad-contacts/switches. This has been the cheapest price i've found online but it is still quite expensive for what it is. Not sure if we are paying for a magic formula or the name. Perhaps there are cheaper alternatives out there but trial and error testing the competition may not be a cost effective experiment.

Brilliant stuff.
Stupidly expensive, yes, but undeniably brilliant. A few squirts of this into the switches of some vintage hifi and radios I am doing up brought them back to life. It will reduce or remove crackles from volume sliders and rotary knobs, and in the case of old radios will restore a lost channel completely if a bad switch is the issue. This stuff works.

this product is a bit of a revelation - works fantastically well
Its not cheap but in my opinion worth every penny , i have a very good and in its day very expensive technics AA class separates system from the early '80s that has been showing its age , Especially the volume nob which crackles and drops out completely. I sprayed deoxit in the back of the component , worked it for a while and re assembled - its absolutely perfect ! no crackles , buttery smooth - i have been using it on the buttons and connectors . excellent product , very highly recommended .

Worth the high price
It's very expensive and for most purposes probably ott. But it's worked to clean inside switches I couldn't disassemble where othe contact cleaner couldn't so not a daily driver but recommended

Does what it says on the tin.
Quite expensive for a small tin but a quality product just remember they do alot of different cleaner products so make sure you get the right one for your job 😉 👍.

Useful for any electronics - synths, consoles, etc.
I was a little put off by the price of this product, but after asking around on the internet what others used for dealing with double-triggering of buttons/switches on their music synthesizers (The OP-Z in particular), I was lead to this product. According to a few posts I found on reddit, unlike a similar product by WD-40, the Deoxit D5 spray is meant to be less likely to leave any damaging residue on your electronics. This sealed the deal for me. You don't need to spray too much onto the affected areas & it seems to dry/evaporate pretty quickly (your mileage may vary!). It greatly improved the problems I was having with the OP-Z and just yesterday I sprayed it into my Nintendo Switch's drifting joycons. It seems to have solved that problem, although I think it is still drying out! Highly recommended.

Fixed my Amplifier Scratchy Jumping Volume and Tone Defeat
Fixed an arcing jumping Nakamichi AV-10 amplifier. I opened up the amp and sprayed the volume control sections and turned back and forth. I couldn't get to the loudness and tone defeat buttons so placed the amp on its end sprayed Deoxit D5 in the little gap of the button like in the photos. Pressed in and out for 2 to 3 minutes and hey presto......no more crackles pops and sound randomly going from the left to right channels. I would highly recomend. I am just hoping the result lasts.

Brought a Valve Amp back to life
This stuff is fantastic. My guitar amp was making all kinds of unwanted noise. It was popping and buzzing. I was getting random volume drops. I replaced the power valves thinking they were failing. The problems didn't go they just got louder. I finally tried this and the amp sounds amazing. Pristine clean and practically no hum. This stuff may seem pricey but it does the trick and will save you money in the long run. It's cheaper than a new set of valves or a new amp.
