Motorcycle Full Face Helmet DOT Approved - YEMA YM-831 Motorbike Moped Street Bike Racing Crash Helmet with Sun Visor for Adult, Men and Women - Matte Black, XL

I have to say this helmet is nicer than I was expecting. It’s jam packed with features that I wouldn’t expect from a helmet of this price. First off, it’s DOT certified. Primarily, this thing will protect your noggin. What’s the point if it doesn’t do that. The design is simple, but it looks very nice. At first, I thought the white piece of fabric near the back of the neck was a strange choice, but later realized it’s made of a high-visibility material. A nice touch! I think I may get tired of the matte finish, simply because any little piece of dirt or oil will show up on it. But out of the box it looks awesome. Comfort is pretty good and will be different for every person. I have a bit of pressure around my forehead that is a bit uncomfortable, but I may get used to that. I ordered a size up, as reviews suggested, and I’m really glad I did. The D straps are pretty standard. They have a nice little tab on the one ring so it’s easier to strap in. There’s also a button on the strap so it doesn't just hang there. There are two adjustable vents that work very nicely. The clear shield is pretty nice. There have actually been a couple times I had to check if i had it down, since it’s so clear. I did notice a bit of fog on it on a slightly cooler morning, but it didn’t overtake my vision at any point. I expect this would be better on a more expensive helmet. I would really have liked to see the visor setting that just cracks it a bit to let some air in. This doesn't have that.The tinted lens is almost a bit cloudy, but I actually got used to it after a few minutes with it down. It does the trick to block the sun, and makes you look pretty cool. Activating the tinted lens is very easy with gloves by using the red switch on the side. I’ll give the disclaimer that this is my first motorcycle helmet, but I’ve had snowmobile, bmx and other helmets in the past. I expected for this to be a placeholder and eventual 2nd rider helmet, but I have a feeling it will delay my purchase of a more high end helmet. For the price, I have to keep my expectations in check, but I think this is worth every penny.

This is a fantastic helmet for the money! It fits comfortably. The sun visor flips down easily with the red switch on the side of the helmet. The switch is easy to find, even with gloves on. The quick disconnect for the chin strap is super convenient. And it looks fantastic. The breath guard does pop off easily, and I lost it because of this. But I contacted YEMA directly asking if I could purchase a replacement, and they responded minutes later letting me know that they would mail me a replacement part at no cost! Excellent customer service. I highly recommend this helmet!

This helmet offers great features for an entry-level price. I especially like the drop-down sunglasses. I am able to comfortably wear my earbuds. The road noise is at a minimum with the visor closed. The 2 ventilation ports provide adequate cooling. I would recommend this helmet.

Great Full-Face Helmet for the price. I will say for the price it is a great DOT Approved Full Face Helmet. I was surprised and excited when I pushed a random lever and found out it had a built-in sunshade. The cons I would note are that some of the rubber parts on the inside breathing area and outside mask started to fall off and break after taking it on and off a few times. Overall great Helmet for the price. Would Recommend.

Great helmet especially for the money. Was on my way to work when I was rear ended by a car and thrown from my bike this helmet held up great only took one head hit on the way down but it definitely did its job. Big thumbs up to yema already bought another helmet just went with their modular this time.

Lightweight, and sleek! It’s noisy as hell, and the during rain, the front visor is not very friendly and fogs up immediately.

This helmet fits great and is very comfortable. The chin strap lock is awesome, very easy to use and undo.

Casco ottimo, molto bello da vedere e anche piacevole al tatto. Comodissimo il visierino a scomparsa oscurato. Prezzo molto contenuto. Per la città va sicuramente bene, non saprei per viaggi più impegnativi

Sehr guter Helm, habe einen länglichen Kopf, passt wie angegossen. Kopfhörer sind nicht möglich bei mir leider. Sonnenschutz fahre ich save nur mit dem Schalter am helm runter und hoch. Fühlt sich sehr sicher an und sieht sehr gut aus :) bekommt aber schnell beim anecken makken. ungekaufte Meinung! 👆

Der Helm sitzt wie angegossen, keine starken Druckstellen und auch nicht zu locker dass er wackelt. Mit dem Helm waren im Lieferumfang ein Mikrofasertuch und eine Schutztasche enthalten. Mit dem roten Hebel links an der Seite des Helms lässt sich das Sonnenvisier hoch bzw, runterstellen. Das normale Visier wird einfach mit der Hand nach oben bzw. unten geschoben. Dieses besitzt zwei Punkte an denen das Visier einrastet. Direkt unter dem Visier und oben auf dem Kopf befinden sich Luftschlitze, die sich durch verschieben auf und zuschließen lassen. Diese Luftschlitze verhindern, dass das Visier von innen beschlagen kann. Das Innenmaterial lässt sich sehr leicht rausnehmen und wieder nach dem waschen einfach reinstecken/klicken. Ich kann diesen Helm auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Nur eins muss beachtet werden: Die richtigen Größen (in cm) für den Helm stehen in der Artikelbeschreibung und nicht oben, wenn man die Größe auswählt.

Der Helm ist trotz einer Größe von XL sehr stramm am Kopf bzw. an den Ohren. Der Sonnenschutz ist Bombe. Klasse Sache.
