Map It: The hands-on guide to strategic training design

This book addressed key training challenges that I’ve been working to improve for the last few years. It provides practical application, which I have started implementing with good results.

Map It seems to have become a standard for any ID who is working within a corporate environment. After working through the book, I can see why. This book not only helps you build upon the foundations of ID and adult learning but also really causes you to be retrospective with your approach to ID and challenges you to change any practices that may not be serving you or your learners well.

I purchased this item because I am changing careers from teaching to instructional design. This book definitely helps in the understanding of analyzing and developing a solution to business problems. Cathy Moore does a great job with consistently reiterating important points and walking you through the full action mapping process. As I grow in the field I will continue to use this book as a resource in effectively helping my clients develop impactful learning solutions.
