Good for Quest 3
Bought this to charge my quest 3 whilst connected to pc. Works well.

Really good value for money
Works perfectly for a VR allowing plug and play into a PC, also has a slot to put a charging cable in, so it charges the VR as quick as you use it. Really good value for money

It does charge (in a sense with PCVR 🖥)
The item is fantastic.. actually getting higher speeds through this cable rather than the £90 Official Meta cable (if run in USB3.1 like I do) it achieves 2.3gbps !, 1.9 for the Official Meta Cable) OK Here is a must do for people that may not no or toss the instructions in the bin !! Lol 1. Please Plug in your Cable to a Red (USB 3.0) or a Blue (USB 2.0 But this may struggle to achieve a high speed) 2. Please Plug in your Official Power Adapter as it has the power to the regulate the Voltage ⚡️ out at 18v OK so for all you nay sayers about this lead it will keep your Quest 2 at around 65% if it drops below that then your battery inside your Quest may be not that good anymore (this can be caused by many things including the incorrect charger.. just because it says its 2.0 Amps on the charger doesn't mean it's the correct MilliAmps !) 3. Plug in your Quest 2 load up your fave PCVR game and Game On 😉 I Hope this helps.

Worked well when purchased.
Mine unfortunately doesn't work now, but I think that's a software issue on metta's side, not the product.

A Company You Can Trust
This cable burnt out my very expensive laptop. I contacted the company and explained the situation, only to be told that their cable does not allow power back to the usb port, but we will refund you for the item as a good will gesture. My laptop was £1900 and it got turned into a worthless paperweight. I thought to myself, I wonder if I purchased a cheap laptop just so I could do just file transfer for my meta quest 3 and if it happens again, at least I have evidence of a failed cable that caused me to lose such a costly device. I can then seek legal advice on what I can do to try to recover something equivalent to what I had. Guess what, the cable worked great until I plugged the meta quests power cable into it. The second it was plugged in the laptop screen went off and the power switch started flashing. I quickly unplugged the cable and prayed. I removed the rear cover and then the battery, waited a few mins, reconnected the battery and powered on the device. Luckily the laptop did come back on. 03/04/25 Syntech collected and tested the cable. They confirmed that the cable was indeed faulty and discussed compensating me for my loss. As i had already sold my damaged laptop for nearly £500 and I did not have the receipt. We agreed on £500 compensation which i was happy to accept. The company did not need to do this and could have easily just fobbed me off, but they didn't. They took responsibility and I respect them for that. That is why I have changed my rating.

The second worst product from Amazon.
Do not purchase this. I got this to use with my quest 3. It worked perfectly for a month and then I started getting lines on the screen of my quest, the longer I played (30-40minutes) the lines then filled up the whole screen, making the game unplayable. Never buy this product. Spend the extra £10-£20 and get a decent one. Im sure they wont show this review but if they do, please take note.

Best Cable I've used
As an experienced user of VR and a geek, I was skeptical about how well this cable would perform given the price. I've been troubleshooting 2 cables I already had for a while as they were both reporting a USB 3 port as only USB 2 with only 300mbs speed. I got this cable mainly for the claim that it maintains charge and after hours of using it, it's doing exactly that. I can also say that the speed that I'm getting from the cable is 3.5gbps which is more than I got from even the official £80 link cable. I use demanding sims and the cable is giving no stutter, no artifacts and no latency that I was getting from previous cables. Ten out of ten

It works, and it's cheapers than Metas Link cable
what a hassle using a cable, no thanks, compared to the official offering of the meta link cable this is a bargain, but oh my the wires!!!, no!!!!!! I think you are better off just sorting out your wifi then have the hassle of this thing. having to plug it into the headset then have another cable coming off into a charger in this day and age cable is just a horrible solution. Saying that if you are dead set on being wired like a borg from the star ship enterprise then this does the job and is a fraction of the cost of Meta's Link cable.

Trotzdem: Klare Kaufempfehlung.
