In the picture it looks like the shoe is adjustable at two points; it isn’t - you can only undo the strap around the back of the ankle.

I'm really enjoying my new sandals. I had to return the first pair I purchased because they were about a full size bigger than expected, but now that I have the appropriate shoes, they're treating me well. Today I wore them while riding a longboard and had no problems. Later, I took the family on a fun hike and again was pleased with the performance. This is my first time owning closed-toe sandals. I got them specifically to protect my feet while loading and unloading a boat and to allow me to not stub toes on rocks while hiking. Dirt and sticks get inside as you might expect and the debris can pool up a bit in the tie area where I'm used to being able to kick it out in open ended sandals. Straight out of the box, they had a really strong chemical smell, but it vanished after a couple wears. I'm curious how long they'll take to dry out this summer when I use them for boating, but haven't tested that yet. They meet my needs for protection, look good, are comfortable, and have really secure tread (much better than my worn out hiking boots). I'm happy.
