Great Bag! .. Perfect ! I added a couple of extra inserts.
Update after 5 Years of use… I came back as I’m thinking of buying another one for my fishing gear.. and saw my own review.. just thought I’d add.. I’m ‘still’ using the bag weekly for photography kit. now into my 6th year! .. the only thing that’s worn a bit is some of the internal lining around the zipped compartments which has split and torn a bit but the main structure of the bag is still completely solid. I regularly stuff it with a fairly heavy camera lenses and binoculars etc .. as well as a seat pad in the back section and numerous bits and pieces in the compartments.. overall still completely happy and no plans to get a new bag yet.. apart from the duplicate for fishing! ———————- Update After a year of constant use.. Still great! Hard wearing and super comfortable.. some slight wear to straps where I keep adjusting when full of gear but not much of a problem..I’m adjusting it a bit more carefully now. I would still buy again without hesitation —————————————————————- Update Jan 2020—> Love this bag! I’ve just come back from a trip dragging it around Marrakech for a week full of camera gear etc.. solid as a rock. really comfortable. if I lost this one I’d buy another one right away.. ——————- I wanted to wait until I returned from a 2 week trip walking with and using the bag daily before I posted a review.. I’ve just returned from a trip scrambling around on the Pembrokshire coastal paths so I’ve put this through it’s paces in a live situation. ## Update end of Nov.. I’ve been using it several times a week.. great rucksack.. can’t fault it so far ! ## First impressions - The bag is exactly what I’ve been looking for form an appearance point of view, understated, casual, sturdy and the green fits in with the darker shades/cameo type clothing I wear for wildlife photography...perfect ## Inserts - My initial reaction to the inside of the bag was ‘I’m not sure this is going to work out’ ... in honesty the one reason for the 4 stars is that the bags inserts are not numerous / stiff enough.. luckily I had an old lowepro slingshot and was able to steal some from this.. these I have seen these inserts for sale online and my view having used the bag is that the rest of it is so useful and comfortable that it’s worth spending a couple of pounds on adding some. # Comfort - Can’t fault it.. sits really well on my back, plenty of easy adjustment, didn’t get too hot..no points dig in.. great # Durability-waterproof - it feels strong and well put together, canvas is the right mix of stiff versus soft to give the bag some form but keep it comfortable. I would say without having tested this aspect too much that the bag would provide good shower protection but if you’re off into the rain forest during monsoon season I’d look for a dry bag instead. I will spray some wax coating on when I get around to it which will help I think. The zips look and feel fine,, not massively heavy duty.. but no indication they’re likely to give a problem. # Utility - I’ve got a largish (for a mirrorless..) Olympus Em1x body attached to a 300mm lens (about 12” length in total) and this fits in the main compartment, as well as 3 spare smaller lenses and cables/bits in the net pockets... the top ‘shelf’ is configurable to make more space in the main part of the bag if required.. I’ve still got enough space in the top for keys, phone etc... maybe a couple of flattish sandwiches .. the water bottle / small tripod holder is very handy.. I mostly hand shoot, so used this for water. The metal magnetic press studs work well and gave me no trouble at all. # Verdict - I’m really happy with it.. pleasure to use so far and just the right size for a day out, I’d buy again! Worth sourcing a few better inserts as a bag that ‘works’ is well worth having and adds to the quality of your day out time and time again. I do regularly update reviews if a product fails prematurely .. so no news here so far is good news!

Solid pack, rugged look, safe for your kit
Okay, this is good. Really, really, REALLY good. The build is solid, zips are excellent quality and have lockable loops for you to slip a padlock through easily. The canvas is tough, heavy, and thick, and will shrug off rain showers happily. It might not be fully waterproof, but it does the job. I've really thrown this thing about and it has kept my kit safe and clean. The canvas makes this really durable. The magnetic clips are secure, and feel nice and tight. A handy side pocket will keep either a large bottle or tripod happily with no fear of it falling out. Design wise, this pack is seriously well thought out. It's not enormous, and if you're lugging 2 DSLR bodies and several lenses look elsewhere, but for essential kit this is ideal. I usually carry my Canon 7D (with battery grip), a Tamaron 18-270mm lens, a Sigma 10-20mm lens, a 50mm, and a telephoto lens. All of this whilst carrying my GoPro and all the straps and kit with that. It's velcro internal dividers help you configure the pack however you want, and this gives it huge flexibility. What's nice is the top compartment is separate (via a removable divider, so if you want 1 huge space, go for it) allowing me to keep some non photography essential bits in there (such as chargers, documents, passport, wallet etc). The side pocket access to the main compartment is useful, as it allows you to make quick lens changes whilst on the move. All the access areas have large zipped mesh pouches, providing the perfect space for lens covers, SD/CF cards, spare wires, and even phones and wallets if you're trying not to get pickpocketed. It has a large zipped laptop pouch to the rear of pack, so your laptop is safe and well padded. It fits my 13.3 inch Mac no problem, so this is ideal when on the move. What makes another nice feature is it doesn't look like a camera bag, and it doesn't scream EXPENSIVE GEAR IN HERE. So for whatever your needs, whether you need a second pack to keep some extra gear, a bag to keep in your car for when you see the perfect shot, or a bag to lug around on adventures keeping your kit safe, this bag is for you. It's easy to fly with and is small enough to use as cabin baggage on most airlines, it's durable, safe, and protective of your kit. Considering the price, this is an absolute steal. I'd not be shocked to see this advertised for at least 100. If you need a bag for your camera kit, buy this. Enough said.

A brilliant little bag
This was bought as a gift for a budding photographer who needed additional space for multiple cameras and lenses, this did not disappoint. Easy to carry, retro style waxed (waterproof) bag that is versatile. Configured exactly to your needs as either a camera bag with padded compartments, a stylish day bag, or split as both! The colour is a lovely muted khaki that goes this most things and is understated enough to make you feel secure carrying around your expensive gear. Well worth the buy

Love this Camera bag
I don't often write a review but I am glad I got this bag, it ticks the boxes for what I needed in a bag. Big enough to carry the gear I usually carry, comfortable on the back, not too heavy before you put the cameras in and it doesn't shout out it is full of expensive cameras if I have to put it down somewhere. I wanted a bag that would double up to carry a few other items besides the camera and there are plenty of pockets to accommodate what I need when out for the day. I would like the top part to be separate to the rest of the bag and not just the velcro divider, and being critical, it probably could use a little more padding here and there but that can be remedied with a few spare bits of divider here and there, especially in the base. I ordered another, more expensive, camera bag at the same time as this one. This one arrived first and so lucky OH gained the 2nd one. I know which I liked most and was closer to what I need on a day to day basis. I can't comment on how long it will last, or how waterproof because only time will tell that. But at this price if it doesn't last 10 years, does it really matter!

INCREDIBLE Quality!!!! Absolutely Amazed!!!
I wouldn't be surprised if I saw this bag advertised at £140+ in John Lewis. The quality is incredible! The outer material is a super heavy waxed canvas material. The kind that if you scratch your nail across leaves a mark. I would say it would definitely protect internals from a light shower, the only place water would eventually get in would be through the zips or the back material which is of the standard backpack venting material. The leather straps do seem to be leather from the standard smell test and feel tests. The straps are of the magnetic popper variety so you don't have alot of faff trying to open them. They feel secure and I wouldn't imagine would come open easy accidentally. ALL pockets are zipped too, which offers a bit more security when travelling in pick pocket areas. It also features a fairly secret pocket at the very back of the bag, accessible from a side zip (pictured). The internal area is completely open and accessible from any entrance on this bag. However it does come with velcro compartment foam pads so you can completely customise the internal area of the bag. For example, I separate the top section from the main underneath section with a velcro pad. Spare pads are pictured loose in the main compartment photo. It also features a variety of internal pockets (pictured) suitable for Passports, or lens filters etc Overall, I'm blown away with what you get for £49.99. It's the sort of bag you'd see for sale in John Lewis for £140+. If you're shopping for a camera bag, or even a normal bag, and like the vintage style, you definitely won't go wrong buying this!

Don't Hesitate
For the price this bag is a steal, i was so hyped to write this review when it arrived since i was so impressed with the quality, but decided to wait a year. Even now after plenty of - if not daily but weekly - use, it has held up brilliantly. The soft touch laptop compartment will hold an ipad pro, i can fit my a7iii with 2 lenses comfortably in the main compartment, and the little organising zip mesh sections are great for cleaning kit and cables/ sd cards etc. The thing will even carry a small tripod on its side. Then there is the top compartment (if you chose to separate it from the main with the included separators) which is perfect for wallets, phones, chargers and snacks. This is a perfect bag for the amateur photographer as long as you aren't worried much about comfort - the bag isn't an ergonomic masterpiece, but i haven't sustained injury of any sort as yet.
