I was actually shocked how good this case is I would say for the money but honestly it beats out rack cases costing a lot more with a bigger brand name identity. Sturdy, well designed with spring loaded handles and latches. The front cover has a zippered bag and the rear has dense foam for cutouts like microphones, etc For the average gigging musician this is the case.

This is a nicely made rack for sure and definitely worth the price! Few things - Its not 12" deep its 10" deep without the cover and the rack rails on front and back are 8" apart With the covers on its 15" deep Its a little heavy but its very sturdy The mic holders are a nice feature but the cutout is way too big for even my share wireless, so I put a little extra foam to keep it secure. The zipper pouch is also a nice feature but I removed it so that I could keep the antennas on the rack and fold. Ive see people complain about smell but mine does not have any smell at all.

Fantastic case.

As a DJ/KJ this is just what I needed. The size is perfect to sit on the surface of my DJ booth. The height of this case allows me to place my mixer board on top and operate easily. The case is well constructed and light weight. Comes with plenty of screws for mounting your racked equipment. The storage in the two ends is a nice added touch. I took the foam mic storage out to gain some room. I mounted two 4 mic systems, a Furman power conditioner and still have enough room for the audio interface. There is just enough room in the back of your equipment to leave your cables attached. Just tuck everything in, attach the lid and off you go. I will buy another. Going to watch for a sale even though it's already a great price for a great product. Added bonus, the two lids will attach together with the butterfly latches. Helps with stashing them during a gig.

UPDATE to my review: It took better than a week of "airing out" this rack box to be comfortable using it. The design, features, and functionality were easy to overlook with the odor issue. With the odor diminishing, I can now add some equipment to the rack and installing the equipment shelves went fine. I do like the microphone and zippered pouch in the two doors for added storage of smaller items. I am raising my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. It might have earned 5 stars if the obnoxious odor had not been an issue that took time to resolve. I would now recommend this rack box as long as you are willing to air it out before use. I do not know how common my experience is so can't say if it is a regular problem or not. INITIAL REVIEW This case shipped in a box with other items. Before opening the box, I detected a strong chemical like odor. I removed the items and the box with this item in it had a strong odor before even opening it. Once opened, it was far worse! The chemical odor and strength can best be described as an open container with gasoline in it. A diferrent plastic chemical odor but similar. It was stinking up the rooms so I moved it to the garage with the hope it would dissipate but it remains strong 3 days later. I do not know if I can honestly live with this thing the way it is. I will give it a few more days to air out. I wonder if it is even healthy to be breathing the fumes. I have never experienced anything like this before. I can not recommend this case because of this.

First, and the most important is that this unit is only 9" from the front rail to the rear rail. So, plan accordingly. It is shallow and compact. There's a deeper one that's 17" (I think). So that one, by deduction is probably 14" front rail to rear rail. As far as the features, it's amazing. The front and rear covers have storage integrated. One cover has 5 microphone slots built into it, as well as two other basic rectangular cutouts. The other cover is just a zippered mesh that would probably be good for cables, connectors, etc. It's just a bin. Doesn't look like it'll hold much weight, but it'll be nice to have. The pads on the top and bottom are great. My laptop sits nicely on them and doesn't slide around. I added a rigid mouse pad alongside the laptop and it's just really convenient. It's light enough, and if the whole unit, loaded becomes too heavy, that's on me, and not the case itself. Unloaded it's pretty light.

Surprisingly high quality, though heads up that the 12" actually has about 9" of internal space not counting the rear cover. If you remove the netting on the rear cover you get maybe anther 1.5" or 2". I'm using this one for eurorack, so not a concern. Buying a second in 17", as I have rack units that are about 12" depth. The grips on the top and bottom are a high density foam, hopefully they last long term. The netting is attached to the rear cover just by screws into the plastic, I can't comment on whether an SKB case would be superior there.

Los materiales son muy buenos, la estética del producto es excelente así como sus acabados, el único inconveniente que le notamos es que con cierto peso externo puede descuadrarse un poco aún con los equipos montados lo que se supondría le daría esa firmeza, fuera de eso el producto nos gustó mucho
