I ordered this boiler in the middle of the pandemic and just before a bank holiday. I ordered it on the Thursday evening and it arrived on the Tuesday, which was phenomenal given the situation and the fact it came all the way from Germany! This boiler has been fantastic plenty of hot water for us, I started off using the eco setting but have now switched to normal and so far I’ve found this the best. It’s on a timer and only comes on from 4 -9 in the evening but there’s more than enough to see us through the day and night. I always have a bath and my partner can easily have a shower directly afterwards with no worries of running out of hot water. It’s easy to install and the functions are easy to set. Highly recommended!

This is a brilliant product. 80 litres of pressurised hot water with a 2kw heater. Perfect for providing hot water for an en suite shower where there none on tap. Easy to install, EU approvals. I can't recommend this highly enough. The only issue is the need to source dialectic connectors for use with copper piping. It's a pity they're not part of the package.

Ordered Saturday, delivered Tuesday UPS. I was expecting it so more than happy with tahtto take a lot longer considering it came from the Netherlands but was able to track progress using the number provided so more than happy with that. I had contacted the seller beforehand regarding the suitability of the boiler to my needs and this was confirmed. The boiler itself was up and running within a few hours as I had previously removed the old immersion tank and prepared as much as I could to help the installer and was running a bath a few hours later. The digital display to operate the boiler is really easy to use and allows a couple of different on off settings and temperature control. You can also display the amount of killowatts that have been used over the last seven days individually and it gives the full amount used that week, also able to display the overall amount since the boiler was first switched on (this can be reset so you can see how much you are using and set controls to suit your requirements) which I have done to calculate the running costs which worked out at about 30 quid for the month which is reasonable considering the boiler was switched on constant for the first week whilst it settled and then I switched it to smart mode and the computer part monitors your usage and adjusts the boiler to best suit your needs to save money (which I could see that it had by looking at the killowatts used as aforementioned). The insulation around the boiler so efficiant that there is no difference of temperature in th cupboard that it is located in whether the boiler is on or off and you can see how slowly the water loses temperature between on and of times. All in all I would recommend this boiler, the seller and the manufacturer to anyone considering purchasing a new boiler and am even considering buyin a different model from Eldom that allows solar heated water to be fed through too.

If you just want a heater to heat water then this is just the job. Simple, just plugs in, and easy to operate. This size is ideal for two people and needs no over head tank, water comes straight from the mains. Delivered quickly and came very well packed and no damage at all. Instructions not very explicit but not really a problem as it's so straight forward. Very pleased with this.

Great quality, but beware the size and weight.

Despite claims that it is WRAS approved, a call to WRAS confirms that the Eldom WV08046E (aka Favourite 80) is not approved by WRAS. The appliance does not come fitted with a temperature relief valve (which is an essential required safety device). Pressurised hot water is not a DIY matter, yet the instructions make no reference to G3 qualifications being required (which they are in the UK). So I spoke with the technical person in Eldom - who said that this appliance is not sold to the UK by Eldom (but they cannot do anything about someone from Europe selling them to the UK from Europe via Amazon) To those people who have fitted one of these appliances in their home - I would recommend that you contact a G3 registered engineer in your area to inspect the appliance for your own safety

Den Wasserspeicher kaufte ich, weil er mir preiswert, platzsparend und mit seiner elektronischen Steuerung gut ausgestattet schien. Alles hat sich bewahrheitet und ich bin jetzt nach erster Betriebswoche sehr zufrieden. In diesem Preissegment ist die elektronische Steuerung natürlich der Hit! Mit ihr können in einfacher Weise zahlreiche Einstellungen programmiert werden, siehe dazu Produktbeschreibung bzw. Anleitungen im Internet. Das brauche ich selbst aber nicht, weil bei mir die Hauselektrik per Nachtstrom steuert. Sehr nützlich finde ich die Anzeige der Anodenabnutzung, nachdem ich jahrelang beim Vorgängergerät viel zu oft (turnusgemäß und teuer) die Anode wechseln ließ. Drei Dinge, die mir noch auffielen: 1. Entgegen der Produktbeschreibung hatte mein Boiler bereits einen Kabelanschluss mit Schuko-Stecker dran. So dass man z.B. sofort an eine vorhandene Steckdose gehen kann. (Oder Festanschluss vornehmen kann.) 2. Der Boiler hat zwei Wassertemperatur-Anzeigen, eine mechanische am Boilerkörper und eine digitale im Display. In der Praxis ist nur die mechanische Anzeige von Bedeutung. Nur diese zeigt an, ob gerade genügend heißes Wasser vorhanden ist. Die elektronische Anzeige misst nämlich die Wassertemperatur im unteren Kaltbereich des Kessels. So kann es kommen, dass im Display nur 15 Grad gezeigt wird und im oberen Drittel des Kessels trotzdem noch knallheißes Wasser zur Verfügung steht. (Das hat seine Richtigkeit, weil die Elektronik die Notwendigkeit des Nachheizens unten misst und steuert.) 3. Ich hatte für mein Bad eine standardisierte Sicherungsgruppe mitbestellt und installiert, obwohl ein eigenes Sicherheitsventil zum Lieferumfang des Boilers gehört. Wenn man den Speicher nur im Wochenendhaus aufhängt, reicht das mitgelieferte Sicherheitsventil allerdings völlig aus.

... bist jetzt sieht alles gut aus. Gerät wurde prompt geliefert. Das Gerät hatte jedoch bereits eine Beule auf der Rückseite was mich jetzt nicht weiterhin stört. Die Frage ist nur, warum ? Desweiteren hat das Sicherheitsventil eine Macke. Beim manuellen öffnen tritt Wasser seitlich aus dem Ventil heraus.( Eine Sicherungsgruppe wäre hier eine bessere und sicherere Wahl) Einzelene Teile werden von Amazon nicht getauscht. Durch eine Gutschrift konnte ich jedoch selbst das defekte Teil besorgen. Schnell und unkompliziert. Die elektronische Bedienung ist einfach und geht schnell von der Hand. Die Beschreibung ist gut. Der Boiler hällt wie erwartet das Wasser sehr lange in einem heißen Zustand ohne ständig nachträglich aufzuheizen. Kabel und co. sind selbstverständlich nicht dabei. Eine Wandseitige Aufhängevorichtung wäre auch schön gewesen. Bis jetzt ist der Behälter dicht und verrichtet seine Dienste. Dafür trotzdem 4 Sterne. Der Preis war damals unschlagbar für solch ein Gerät.

Das kurz vor Weihnachten noch was kaputt geht musste ja wohl noch sein... Durch C19 ist auch das schnell vor Ort kaufen so ne Sache.... Also das Ding mal schnell Abends bestellt und am 22.12. nach 3 Tagen bekommen. Genau richtig da der Alte an dem Tag keine Lebensgeister mehr aufweisen konnte. Die Montage des Neuen war einfach. Lediglich die Sicherheitseinrichtung habe ich durch eine hochwertigere mit Druckminderer getauscht. Das Design ist ansprechend. Die Oldschool Temperaturanzeige oben hätte man sein lassen können. Auf der andern Seite ist diese schon wieder cool. Die Einstellungen sind einfach zu machen und fast schon selbsterklärend. Bediene damit eine Badewanne/Dusche und 2 Waschbecken. Für den täglichen Gebrauch bei max 3 Leuten vollkommen ausreichend.

Sehr gut die Individuelle Programmierung. Reicht für 2 Personenhaushalt. Heizt zügig.
