Old Version, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 236ml

This product (in combination with the moisturising cream from same brand) has saved my skin. I suddenly developed acne on my forehead and upper chest over a period of two months. I used benzoyl peroxide wash and cream for a few weeks and this cleared up the acne but left me with terrible dry/sore/sensitive/ flaky skin!! If I used my old skincare products the acne began to return! I happened to spot these products and used both the cetaphil wash and cream twice a day. Within four days my skin was soft and hydrated again with no unsightly bumps or redness!! I know use this as my daily routine to keep my skin in good condition. The only downside is that the wash does not foam, this is a problem if like me you wear a lot of make up. To rectify this is wash and rinse and repeat, then follow with micellar water which removes all my make up. Fabulous product for those with super sensitive skin due to its simple ingredients and no nasty sulphates. Will continue to purchase.

I've always loved using this cetaphil cleanser. For someone who has combination skin which can sometimes be sensitive to products, this does the job. Does what it says on the dispenser! It smells oat-ey, but I quite like that. My partner has dry skin, and this also works very well on him. The price is a huge plus, it's super affordable and it lasts a good 6 weeks for the 2 of us. We've spent so much money investing in skincare and cleansers over the years. But, despite Superdrugs Hemp range, this has been the product we've always ended up coming back to. I've had skin issues on my scalp for many years now, not sure what the cause is - but, I've been using this instead of shampoo recently too and I've had zero flareups and it cleans the hair nicely. (I've tried everything else out there to no avail) Obviously this isn't what the product is intended to be used for, but jut putting it out there if anyone has the same problems with their scalp as mine! :)

I was recommended this product by a beautician friend of mine who said that it is currently all the rage in the beauty world at the moment. I can't believe how cheap it is compared to other facial cleansers and washes I have tried! I have oily combination skin and am in my late thirties so trying to find a product suitable for my skin and the onset of wrinkly bits is a challenge! I like this product because it has a nice creamy texture and my face feels very clean after use. My children can use it as it is mild enough for the whole family and comes with a handy pump dispenser. My only gripe is that it does contain parabens which I usually avoid. Will probably buy again for the sake of economy and for the fact that it has worked thus far.

I have been using this product for many years and it’s never done me wrong. Especially during winter time this product is very gentle for my skin (I have very sensitive skin). I usually use this product alone to wash and clean my face on a day when I don’t put make up, so for on days I put make up I need to use a make up remover prior to using this cleanser because this cleanser alone for me I feel like it will not remove all the dirt and grime from the make up products on my face. Would recommend to who ever has a very sensitive and dry skin like me.

Good cleanser. A bit astringent at first on psoriatic skin. But I started to use this on my scalp as well due to foliculitis. My scalp has calmed down considerably since using it but it is not the miracle cure as I still need to use the coal tar shampoos as it isn't good a at stopping that. On my face I would say it is a bit harsh if added directly so when I wash my scalp I let the foam run onto my face to make it less astringent. I got this as my previous product was no longer stocked by amazon so this is a good replacement. The last product contained silicic acid so was even worse on my skin. This is a good replacement to the old product I was using.

I've been using this for over 2 months now and I have seen an improvement in my skin. I remove my make up beforehand and use this as a skin cleanser morning and night with water. It leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. If you love that squeaky clean feeling then look elsewhere as this wont give you that- for good reason-if youre looking for clean, balanced comfortable skin then it's worth a try. This cleanser doesn't foam, you massage it around the face and it remains in it's original form, then rinse. I use 3 pumps for face and neck twice daily and it's lasted over 2 months so pleased with its size for the price. I will be reordering this product.

Gentle and good for sensitive skin and does not cause that tight feeling many facial skin cleansers cause. However, the liquid is far too thin - almost like milk - and so it squirts everywhere and half of it seeps through my fingers before I can reach to wash my face. It does not remove make up. Only use is in the shower for quick early morning rinse of face where it doesn’t matter that it runs through my fingers as I can use that to clean my body. Would never use at the end of the day to remove make up.

I wanted to give this product a few months use before reviewing, I've been using the product twice a day now for 3 months and I can honestly say my skin has never been better. I use it as a cleanser to remove makeup and I also wash my face every morning with it. I've always had sensitive skin and have bought into the usual well known expensive potions in the past..all of which have let me down. This simple little cleanser leaves my skin feeling like silk, I haven't had one breakout or patch of eczema since I started using it and as someone who would never have left the house without makeup on before I very rarely wear it now. Love this product!
