This is the first review I have ever written on Amazon and it’s well deserved. After using a horrible drugstore moisturizer toted to dry out acne on a whim two years ago that caused my entire face to be covered in closed comedones and in turn maturation arrest acne I was at a loss. In my attempts to reclaim clear skin, I’ve done multiple medium depth in office chemical peels, RF Microneedling, monthly facials, appointments with a dermatologist and using oral antibiotics and topical retinoids plus a pricy medical grade Skinbetter Science facial routine to no avail. In attempts to clear the stubborn little white pebbles under my skin that refuse to come to the surface I decided to give the HARUHARU Wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil a shot. I am not new to oil cleansers and have used many over the years with my favorite being Dermalogica PreCleanse however this product has rivaled all of the above. HARUHARU Wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil has been the ONLY change I have made in my skincare routine in the last two months and my face has gone from textured, bumpy, and filled with closed comedones that were a constant source of anxiety with and despair to almost 99% completely clear. I don’t know what magical elixer is contained in this cute little frosted brown bottle but it has proven almost magical in its ability to transform my skin from within. I have picked, poked, prodded, peeled, scrubbed, exfoliated and used retinoids nightly, all to no avail. My skin looks better with all the above but the ONLY thing that has made any appreciable improvement in my skin has taken place over the last two months when I began using HARUHARU Wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil. I’ve read the reviews and I do not have any stinging of my eyes nor haziness from this product like I have had with prior oil cleansers and cleansing balms. There is no real appreciable smell to this product and one pump of this thick oil covers my face and neck whereby I use it as my first cleanse in the evening after massaging it in well and then add a little water to emulsify the product and after cleaning more rinse completely and finish with my second cleanse. After struggling so long with this maturation arrest acne I am confident that HARUHARU Wonder Black Rice Moisture Cleansing Oil has been the key in my very involved routine to finally get this skin condition to resolve. Has it been the only product that has made an appreciable difference in my skin texture and clarity? No, but this combined with a very good medical grade skincare routine and professional skin services has coupled to make all the difference.

This is the best cleanser for removing makeup. It leaves skin soft too.

I’ve been using Haruharu black rice toner and face oil for the last two years. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and I have to admit that I am OBSESSED with this fermented black rice ingredient, so I was thrilled when they came out with their cleansing oil and cleansing gel!!! Before this Haruharu black rice cleansing oil came out, with not much to choose from, I’ve been using Shu Uem*** for the last 15 years and tried DH* cleansing oil which were leading brands in the market. I liked how Shu Uem*** cleansing oil got rid of all the make-up so well, but it has been love and hate relationship because it was a bit pricey, and its ingredient is mineral oil(by-product of the distillation of petroleum to make gasoline), thus made me feel somewhat less clean internally. Although it got its job done well, I really hoped to find something that was eco friendly, and vegan. I’ve tried DH* cleansing oil(olive oil based), but its texture was way too thick, made my eyes really blurry and sore and my skin broke out crazily. In search of the perfect cleansing oil for the past 15+ years, I’ve bought so many, maybe too many products from Neiman, Saks, and Sephora. If the product worked well, it was not natural oil, or it was way too expensive. Haruharu black rice cleansing oil is a GAME CHANGER! It’s 95% NATURAL ingredients. It is made of only 9 ingredients that is so gentle and mild even for the most sensitive/dry skin! Its light, refreshing texture does NOT make my eyes irritated, NO skin break outs and leaves my skin well cleansed throughly. I was so impressed that it even gets rid of most of the waterproof make up. I only have to pump the oil once, put it on my face, gently massage with a little bit of warm water, and Ta-da! My skin is clean, bright and I do feel good inside knowing that it is eco-friendly. Also, it is FRAGRANCE-FREE and does NOT strip out the moisture out of your skin and the combination of natural oils even NOURISHES the skin. And I just love the fact that Just like other Haruharu products, this cleansing oil is also Vegan and there is no animal cruelty involved in producing the products! Oh yes, and the price! It is all the things I’ve wanted in a cleansing oil and it is AFFORDABLE. The ingredients and the benefit that I get from using this may feel like a splurge and luxury, yet it does not break my wallet! Please do not waste your precious time, energy and resource to find the perfect cleansing oil. This is it! I highly recommend it!!!

I use this product to double cleanse my face whenever I have a full face of make up. It's refreshing as soon as I rub the product in and it seems to work effectively. Leaving my face pretty clean. I love the quality of this cleansing oil and it's perfect for traveling. The scent doesn't bother me.

A holy grail in my skin care routine!! After finishing up this size, I went to buy the 5.07 ounce bottle of this product because of how much I love it!! And that’s saying something, because I rarely ever use up an entire skin care product because of regular use (I know that’s not a good habit - I just haven’t found anything that worked well enough to keep me motivated to continue use until I came across this product!) My skin is super oily, and my biggest skin concern has already been my blackheads and whiteheads. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft, and gets rid of that greasy feel that you feel sometimes with oily skin. It’s so easy to use which is a huge plus for me, as someone who struggles with energy and motivation- this product is amazing to use even on low energy days to help you take care of yourself!! I’ve also visibly noticies a huge difference in my blackheads and whiteheads, especially on my t-zone and chin! If you’re on the fence about it, I definitely recommend trying out this “travel size” version of it first before committing to the bigger size bottle! It’s worth the price and it’s a good amount for a “trial run”! You don’t need a lot of product at all to clean your face with and it’ll last you a good bit!!

Impressive makeup remover! I wear a full face of makeup for theatre and was recently struggling with eyelid blisters due to a reaction to another remover/cleanser. After some research, I decided to try an oil cleanser and this one *delivered*. Absolutely no skin reaction on my very sensitive eyelids, and this oil cleanser removed 100% of my stage makeup - including durable waterproof eye makeup! I am very impressed and am officially a convert.

J'ai l'habitude de me démaquiller d'abord avec de l'huile et ensuite avec un lait. Et puis j'ai vu un documentaire sur les produits coréens qui sont parmi les meilleurs et je n'avais jamais connu une huile aussi douce qui fait un bien fou à la peau. Je sens la différence.

No pore clogging ingredients (I double checked cause I couldn't believe it!) Hey guys My honest review for this product is that it does wonder…. It’s a must have skincare product.. I have an acne prone skin and it did not flare up the acne and really removed the clogged sebum. There’s no specific scent for the product and highly effective for all type of skins results can been seen within 3 washes if paired with proper face wash and pore cleanser…. Overall the values for money is great and worth a buy!
