This is a really nice, premium-feeling remote. Works great on my LG OLED 65" with WebOS. There are many others that are far cheaper (3 for $9) but they don't offer the voice or pointer feature. Pointer feature is not essential but it is handy for certain things like using the smart TV's internal web browser. The pointer feature switches back to cursor when you press the arrow keys which is a nice touch. I wish the smartphone app made switching between pointer & cursor mode more seemless. Remote has a nice curved in the hand feel and is very intuitive for 'blind use' (as in operating in a dark room while only looking at the TV). Overall a good buy.

This replacement remote paired right out of the box. No setup, no button combos, no instructions needed. I put batteries in and it just worked. Connected right away. The pointer, navigation, and voice control all work exactly as they should. Every function behaves like the original LG Magic Remote, including all the extra buttons I never use but apparently still need to exist (yes, even the SLING and color buttons). It's designed to mimic the original and it does it well. The volume control is very responsive. Button feel is almost identical to the original. It’s not cheaper, not heavier, just slightly different in a way you notice for about five minutes and then forget. This was a replacement after the original remote was… enthusiastically chewed by my dog. I needed something that worked immediately without fuss, and this delivered perfectly. If you’re replacing a lost or damaged LG Magic Remote, this is an easy five stars.

Though this device may look like an original ATV remote, it is NOT what it seems. Nowhere does the description say it is plastic (will probably break the first time or is dropped). Seller was clear it was NOT a Siri remote and there is NOT a Siri button for voice commands. They also mention the Siri wheel is NOT available. They are also clear no batteries are included. It would have been nice to confirm it is NOT rechargeable. Will see how the buttons perform as I am torn to return. $25 for a cheap plastic remote that does 70% of what an authentic Apple product for $59 and will probably last less than a year. My original ATV remotes are 7-10 years old! UPDATE: Tried to use this remote on my other ATV and no luck. It is essentially a dumb remote. An ATV remote lets me adjust external stereo volume and still control other features within the ATV. Not this remote. Without volume control ... It is a no go. It also will not let you jump back to last channel on YT TV by holding down the center button for a few seconds. Return initiated and spending the extra $30 on a fully functional aluminum remote that will last a very long time!

All functions Worked as it should right out of the box. No programming needed. Very satisfied. Looks and feels just like the original.

This works just like the original, which fell victim to my puppy's lust for inappropriate chew toys. Synching it to the television was incredibly simple and took just seconds. My only criticisms are that the original had tactile bumps on the volume buttons so you could feel for them without needing to look, which goes to my other criticism that this remote does not illuminate like the original did so it is hard to work in the dark. Since the description says that it "can perfectly replace your original", I'm knocking one star off my rating as it is not a perfect replacement. That said, I would buy again and might just buy another as back-up in case my pup doesn't stop chewing everything she can get her mouth on. Actually, she did get a hold of this remote the day after it arrived but did not have it long enough to destroy it. Also, batteries not included.

I ordered this TV remote for a direct replacement of my 2025 LG B5 OLED TV, but it doesn't pair with it correctly. In 2025 they changed the magic mouse pairing technology in the TV and remote itself, so older model remotes no longer work with any 2025 or later OLED LG TVs. Some of the buttons would work, but the source button wouldn't and the magic mouse portion wouldn't work either. Felt like it was made good, it just wasn't compatible.
