This microwave splatter cover is such a simple but useful kitchen gadget. It fits perfectly over plates and bowls and actually keeps food from splattering everywhere. I love the built-in water steamer, it helps keep food from drying out when reheating. The clear design makes it easy to see what’s inside, and it’s lightweight but sturdy. Cleanup is quick, and it saves so much time wiping down the microwave. Definitely one of those small things that makes everyday life easier.

I like the handle on the lid and how cover sits above the food. Couple things I do not care for is this black rim falls off the bottom of the lid sometimes and is hard to put back on. The little vent closure disk on top of lid is already fell off and is lost.

I did a lot of research before buying this cover so I was astonished at how fast it fell apart. Within days the outer ring fell off and wouldn’t go back on and stay. Then the little steam vent cover just fell apart and couldn’t be properly placed anymore making it less effective. This seems very cheaply made and I wasn’t expecting that much from it as only 2 older adults are using it. So now I’m searching for a replacement only 3 months after buying it. I rarely take the time to write reviews but wanted others to know the quality.

Love this thing. Add a little water and food is moist and very hot.

This is a good item but unfortunately broke after four months.

Worked fine for several months; then black ring around the bottom cracked and black steam release disc fell out.
