It might seem a bit costly, but the quality is better than any hammer I've used. You can do both superficial and deep tendon reflexes with this hammer. The shaft won't bend like other cheap counterparts. Overall a great product from IndoSurgicals

As a medical student i would watch a lot of Youtube videos especially of Clinical Examination,thats where i saw this rounded pattern of knee hammer. It is definitely more effective than conventional hammer since: 1)it is rounded rubber on all sides,one does not get confused when to use tip and base of hammer. 2)the plastic handle makes it very convenient to hold and strike without much movement of the examiner. 3)the bottom tip is pointed,which can be used to elicit Babinsky reflex. Overall this is a really good tool to have for all medicos only cons are: 1)cannot carry this in pocket like the smaller hammer. 2)Not sure if the faculty in your specific college would approve of it(usually no one minds but...you never know!) Pretty good quality, and the slightly elastic feel of the rod is much easier to elicit reflexes with than the usual rigid metal hammer

Stick is too much flexible

The recipient for whom I procured three of these actually lost a costly version of this. I intend to get more in bulk or advise said recipient to procure some more for self. This is really good. Product got delivered ahead of time too.
