VIDEO REVIEW | Lacks some important aspects, but does great with what it already has!
I bought this mouse after an extensive research. I was looking for a mouse for my work requirements, and being a designer, I deal with a lot of design software programs that requires a comfortable mouse for prolonged work hours. Other options I was considering were the Logitech G602, the Razer Ouroboros, and the Razer Mamba. In comparison, I found the MX master to be fit for me because of the battery life (40 days as claimed by Logitech! on a single charge), the overall comfort in terms of ergonomics, and the aesthetics. Programmability was not that big of a deal for me and hence I could do with the 7 buttons and 2 wheels the MX master had to offer.Having used the product for more than 5 weeks now, these are some of the Pros and Cons I would like to talk about:+ The form, build, and the feel are absolutely worth the price, with the high spine and a palm-hugging form that is so comfortable.+ The material textures are just perfect, and they feel great to interact with.+ This scroll wheel is the best thing to have in any mice - you will get addicted to the Smartshift.+ The Logitech Options software is extremely easy to use and you can get so many combinations and options to choose from with just 7 buttons to play with.- I found the thumb wheel not that easy to spin, it is hard and requires a lot of effort to side-scroll anything. Many people - especially those working with certain software programs such as Premiere Pro, etc where you need to side-scroll on a timeline - have found the thumb wheel pretty impressive. Although, I rather prefer to use the scroll wheel for moving across timelines, because its much easier and faster - especially with that Smartshift in the scroll wheel. The lack of Smartshift in the thumb-wheel is another disappointment.- I have seen a lot of people commenting on the placement of the back and forward buttons - which are a bit out of place and hard to reach with your thumb. + Although, I didn't find them uncomfortable to reach to. In fact, I liked the way they are put together one above the other, which allows me to quickly press the buttons without a little lag.- Connecting with bluetooth might result into a little lag or split-second drops, especially as you use the mouse farther from your system.- It lacks an on-the-fly dpi switch, although you can customize any of the buttons to functions as a sensitivity shift button. For detailed information, do visit:Unboxing of the MX Master [...]The MX Master Impressions [...]Video Review [...]

Best productivity mouse for tech enthusiasts.
This is the best productivity mouse out there. It has a huge price - 10k when I bought it. But the product is worth the price.First off, this is NOT A GAMING MOUSE. You can play games, but this mouse is on the heavier side, and was never designed to play games. It is insanely comfortable to touch and you can use it for hours at a stretch. If you get used to using this mouse for a while, you won't like to switch back to any other. It has a beautiful design with a premium look and feel. I feel like the other color (creamy white) looks better, but for some reason, the color also increases the price by 2.5k, which I dislike. This mouse is really for professional/productivity usage and not for basic home computing.

This is the best mouse a developer or a designer can have
This is the best mouse a developer or a designer can have. Its desktop application provides tremendous amounts of customizations, and even application / program specific settings. One can literally mould this mouse in accordance to his use. And plus the multi connect bluetooth is just 2 generations ahead thinking, press of one button and I can switch between my desktop and laptop. It's bluetooth range is pretty huge too, and battery life is just woowwww, literally goes for 27-30 days without charging, even if I leave it on all the time.

Expensive but worth it
Little expensive as compare to the price to US .But works fine .. even dropped twice from 4-5 feet accidently .. still working fine .. .. didnt like the placement of back and forward buttons on side.. horizontal scroll wheel is very useful

Works like a charm
Works like a charm. A bit costly though for a mouse. The fast scrolling comes very handy while reviewing lengthy documents and pdf files. Hv not used the side scrolling much but you can assign various shortcuts to all the buttons and customise u r mouse as per the requirements. A productive mouse for professionals.

Was expecting much more for a mouse this expensive
This mouse is pretty good, but not great. I would have expected something much more polished and problem-free for a mouse that is pretty much top of the line.It has lots of buttons, all of which are highly customizable. You can even customize buttons for individual apps. Whenever I need to use a different mouse, I find myself reaching for buttons that aren't there because I have gotten used to having so many buttons on this mouse. One problem I have noticed, however, is that the mouse often reverts back to default button configurations temporarily. For example, when waking my computer it always takes about half a minute until my customizations kick in. This also happens after periods of inactivity, even with the computer running and not locked or asleep.Ergonomically it is quite good. The contours fit my hand well, and all buttons are fairly easy to reach. It would be nice if the forward/backward buttons (near the thumb) were bigger, but that's a minor issue. The task view button (the one under where your thumb rests) is great for invoking task view, adjusting volume, etc. It takes a moderate amount of force to press it, but I think that's a good thing to prevent accidental input. The main scroll wheel is pretty good, but not great. It's very loud when in step mode (as opposed to free-spin mode): sometimes I put on music to drown it out a bit. It's nice to have the option to switch between step mode and free-spin, but I find that free-spin isn't implemented that well. I find that it spins too freely, so once it gets going, it takes excessively long to stop spinning. This very low resistance also means that it's quite sensitive, so I sometimes notice accidental inputs. One thing to note in regards to Windows: in free-spin mode you won't get precise, pixel-to-pixel scrolling, like you do with a phone's touchscreen. In most apps you still get sizable steps. This seems to just be how Windows and many Windows apps are made. I find free-spin mode to be much smoother on OS X.The horizontal scroll wheel is a nice feature to have, but one thing I don't like is that its motion is highly damped: that is, it won't free spin at all. In fact, its resistance is high enough that light brushes against it with the thumb won't even turn it. This can be good to prevent accidental input, but I find that it is too hard to scroll it: it takes more than what I consider a normal amount of force to use it. One reason I wanted a mouse with a horizontal scroll wheel is because I have gotten used to touchpads that allow for vertical/horizontal/diagonal scrolling. However, I have come to realize that touchpads are much easier to use for 2-dimensional scrolling than a mouse with 2 wheels (at least, it is for me). I find that a touchpad's motion is much more intuitive than controlling two independent wheels. One other thing to know about horizontal scrolling: not all apps support it in Windows. For example, I was really hoping to use it in iTunes (because I have lots of columns enabled in list view, which makes for lots of horizontal scrolling), but iTunes doesn't support horizontal scrolling in its Windows version from any mouse or touchpad that I have tried.Bluetooth connectivity isn't great. I found it to be unreliable, especially after waking the computer, so I now use the USB dongle permanently. Part of the reason I got this mouse was for the Bluetooth because I didn't want to have a dongle sticking out of my computer all the time. Although it's small, it's still plenty long to catch onto things when moving my laptop. If it catches anything hard enough, it could damage the port, so I have to be careful.Overall, it's a pretty good mouse with lots of features. However, it has some pretty glaring issues, like reverting back to default button configurations, scroll wheels that aren't implemented well, and flaky Bluetooth. I would have expected much more for a mouse this expensive. I hope Logitech has solved these issues with the MX Master 2.

Excelente mouse

MOUSE
Once battery is weak, and it will come very soon, This Mouse can give you lot of headaches and may interfere with system booting process, or your comp may stall. On the other hand Logitech does not support the idea of changing, replacing a battery for the new one.Well it is possible but it is also hard to find the same spec. of a battery. I found number of the same size and pin that can fit but capacity of the battery is always weaker then original. Although battery is in a range of $40-50.question is if this is worth having this mouse.
