We needed a safe way to connect our Christmas lights to an extension lead, and this outdoor electrical box has been perfect. It’s spacious enough to fit the extension cord and plugs with room to spare, keeping everything neat and protected. The build quality is excellent – the heavy-duty material feels durable, and the IP54 waterproof rating gives us confidence it will withstand rain and snow. The sealing is really secure with the clips and gaskets, so we know the cables are well protected. The glowing safety warning on the lid is a clever touch, keeping it visible at night and adding extra peace of mind with pets and kids around. It’s easy to use too – we had it set up in no time. This box is very substantial and does what it needs to. It was not quite big enough for what I wanted but it is great quality.

Strong box, but not very big inside,should have noted size measurements.

Make sure that you can fit your plugs in it first . This is a great piece of kit.

Good value ... sturdy box ...

Small in size...... If in the UK don't get this if using for Xmas decorations (medium size). The extra long plugs you get on decorations are way bigger than this allows. Waste of money for me. See picture

A bit less space inside than I was expecting, but managed to get the extension lead to fit with a bit of fiddling. Outside lights have worked all Christmas, and the inside of the box was as dry as a bone when I opened it, so it did the job perfectly.

The box is not waterproof as there are no seals around the lid only the cable holes. If the box was sideways as it is designed to be there is a real risk of death by electrocution. I bought this for Christmas lights. Nearly all Christmas light plugs are too long. The box is not wide enough or high enough. All in all a very useless and in my humble opinion a death trap. Can you imagine kids playing near this when fitted to be on a fence and they touch it as it leaks water in. I honestly don't know how the supplier or Amazon can sell some thing like this. Some 4 plug adapters don't fit well. I have thrown the box otherwise I would have sent it back. I hate being ripped off with a substandard product.

Die alte Box wurde zu klein. Diese ist perfekt. Dreierdose passt rein und diverse Netzteile dazu. Verschließt sauber und ist dicht . Gerne wieder.

I used this box in my chicken run. I needed to keep a heated water bowl in the run during the winter and this has worked great to keep the connection dry. The box is well made and has a good seal. It is large enough to fit a power strip and has several ports to run cables out of.
