AnkerMake M5 Extruder B2C - Global Silver Iteration 1

I'm one of the Kickstarter backers, and I had the original extruder on mine. The extruder started having issues, so I ordered this one so that I could run while cleaning out the original. Putting this one back in was easier than removing the original, thanks to the changes.

My M5 is from the crowd fund. This unit is an upgrade from the original making it easier to remove the covers. This does not include the al metal hot end but you don’t need that unless you are running ABS.

It was very sad..... I opened up the brand new extruder head and it looked like someone went crazy with a file in it... remember.... this was a new unit..... I have lost so much money trying to get my other printer working which has been down for 2 months now because of a bad extruder motor and it was 1 yr out of warranty.

Super easy to remove old and install a new one when the old one has run its course. Very happy with these machines and ease of use.

Bought an m5 second hand the but hand all kinds of problems on the extruder. Decided to replace the whole thing and it now works perfectly. Pretty easy to install as well.
