Took this out for the first time for an overnight trip. Very comfortable and adjustable pack. Waist band is super comfy , straps when tightened allowed the pack the conform to my back very well. Was so surprised how well this pack fit. I am 5’7” and 150 lbs female. Very spacious. I have a very large sleeping bag and large bear canister which is why I got the larger size. Both fit easily into the bag along with small tent and small pad. Pockets are great. Didn’t use all of them but like the options. Not sure how the water bladder was meant to fit into the pack. Never used one in a backpack but managed to somehow make it work effectively , more by lying the bladder on top of the stuff in my pack. That way it didn’t get squashed and was easy to drink from. I really do like the pack. This was a good purchase for me.

I can't believe how light and comfortable this pack is! easy to adjust to my torso (I'm 6'3") and the mesh breathes very well. I have been lugging an older Gregory pack a friend gave me to train for my pack test as a wildland firefighter--it did it's job but with no comfort and the weight distribution was terrible. As a present to myself for getting all A's this semester I couldn't pass up the price Enwild sells this for. I took it out today with 45 pounds of tool kits and a few dumbbells, and I was practically running. After fitting it to my torso, the rest of the adjustments are super quick and convenient (easy to do while hiking too). Between the comfort, weight distribution, and the stability of the whole thing I shaved a whole minute off the same 3 mile route I have been practicing. I will definitely use this pack when I camp and explore the continental divide trail this summer and I cannot wait! I will be purchasing the rain cover, but for the price the pack was, the separate purchase is not bad. I would say that this 65 liter pack is all most people will need, even on through trails.

Very good quality branded backpack with a rigid anatomical frame, support for the waist, very good fabric fasteners, and quality seams. For 105 liters, it does not look like a very large, if necessary, the volume can be reduced to 40 liters. That is, you can carry smaller things in a backpack, do not be afraid that it is too big. I had a choice before 85 liters 105 liters. Now I am sure that I made the right choice of 105 hp.

Just received my new Kelty Coyote 85L pack. I will update as soon as I get a hike/camping adventure in. First impressions of this pack (new 2020 model), it no longer has the pass-through, to the main compartment, on the front, and no longer has the detachable upper old that can be used as a day pack. That is disappointing as the old model had all of that. The waistband is almost too small in length for a guy that is 5'9" and about 290lbs. However, it is just long enough, and just wearing around the yard is fine. You have to reach back to get to the side pockets on the waist belt. The Positives, comfortable pack I load with approx 25lbs of gear and walked around with it. Looks great and durable. Love the olive green color with the orange pulls on the zippers. Zippers look to be of good quality. The entire pack looks to be of really good quality. The pass-through pockets are cool. If you are a hunter you could put a rifle on one side and put your tent on the other side. Conclusion, I think I'm some ways the older design was better and there is some room for improvement but I would not hesitate to recommend this pack to a friend. I bought it on Amazon when it was almost $50 off the regular price. It was between this one and the Teton Outfitter 4600 75 liter pack. I was going to buy the Teton until the price drop occurred on the Kelty. The Teton has pass access to the main pack on the top and front. It also has a detachable lid that can be used as a day pack. Colors were not as good and the Kelty was 10 more liters.

This is hands down the best backpack I have ever owned. A few things: I have the 60L - upgraded from my Kelty Redwing 50. What an upgrade! This thing has so much space I don't even know what else to say about that. As with most hiking backpacks from Kelty, it has the two wings and the pass through that they are known for. The versality of this bag is unmatched at this price point - it is the best bag in this range in my opinion. It has multiple carrying points. It's incredibly versatile - very moddable. The most important part is how AWESOME this thing carries the weight. I loaded it up with about 52 lbs of gear and it barely even feels like more than a school bookbag. It distributes weight very well - the compression straps obviously also help with this. No weird smells on mine - seller packaged it well. This thing is a 5/5 and instant classic in my book. I hope Kelty brings these back, but my understanding is that they've graduated these to the "Glendale" series - which honestly kind of bums me out but makes me cherish this one even more. Very functional, a little over the top for EDC but if you're going on a day hike or a multi day hike - this is your bag if you want comfort, versatility and functionality. Well done Kelty!!! Please make more of these!
