Why does the price on this vary between 13 and 19+ dollars from week to week?

I payed $12 last time I purchased this product. Now they are charging $14.48. It was a great deal but at this point it’s almost at or above grocery store prices. They don’t raise the price every time you buy it so I don’t know why Amazon does. Would also love an answer to this.

I ordered fancy feast turkey & giblets, but while sold by amazon, it is being shipped from brazil! what's up with that?
