Rustic MAKA Natural Deodorant, Takes Two To Mango (Mango + Lime), Free of Alu...

Yes, I'm yet one more long-time non-toxic product user who has forever been on the hunt for a deodorant that works. And doesn't rely on baking soda, which can cause a rash. Deodorant being such a personal preference kind of thing, what works for me may not work for you. But having tried most versions (under the $22 price point) and made a few of my own in the kitchen, I know how tough it is to find that magic combo of temperature stable oils, odor reducing elements and non-offensive scents. And Rustic MAKA really seems to have hit on the right version. My only wish would be for an even more "neutral scent" or unscented version in the activated charcoal blend. I'd willingly be a tester if they did! :-) Haven't used it in the hottest summer months yet but so far, its such an excellent product. And for anyone griping about it being "dry" –– just hold it against your skin for 15 seconds before swiping, that's all the body heat you need to make it pliant to apply.

I learned about this product through healthillie and I wasn’t to try more scents so I went searching on Amazon. I’m the kind of person who gets armpit sweat my whole life and I couldn’t find anything that helped besides detoxing my pits. But when I found this deodorant that has the benzonite clay in it and it smells fresh all day I was sold! There’s no staining, I smell great all day during the work day. And I’ve been breastfeeding for the last year and it’s been a life saver through the AZ summer. I can’t say anything more positive about this brand of deo.

I made the switch from Schmidt’s to this and I am 100% satisfied. This Deodorant smells nice and throughout the day the scent does Neutralize itself. I was stink free all day even after my workout. The deodorant glides on smoothly and a little goes a long way. The Luna bliss and mango tango both smell and work great. I don’t break out in rashes like I did with Schmidt’s. Worth the cost point!

Not sure why there are bad reviews on this product. So far I’m on my second week of using this deodorant, and I’m finding that it lasts all day. This will be my new go-to natural deodorant. Update to my review: I have been using this product going on 2 months now. It keeps me dry all day. I also purchased Luna Bliss, but prefer takes two to mango. The scent doesn’t last at all with Luna Bliss, while with mango I’m smelling sweet all day. Literally, mango is all I smell...all day...and I love it. However, I’m thinking that charcoal powder was used to replace the baking soda. Which is a good move, but I can’t figure out how to prevent it from staining my white clothes. I’ve let it dry before putting clothes on. That doesn’t work. That’s the only thing that I can think of. Should I put pads on my pits or something? Help me, because I don’t want to look for another natural deodorant!

I purchased this deodorant twice over the course of a few months. The first deodorant was awesome. Though a little soft and melty, it has been the only deodorant to help postpartum. The last deodorant I ordered was very dry and dark. It was nothing like the first stick I used. Not only was the consistency different, but it smelled rancid. I couldn't find a best by date on the product but I'm sure it must have gone bad. Unfortunately due to the inconsistentcy in the product, Im not willing to purchase a 3rd time.

This is the best natural deodorant I’ve tried. The scent is lighter than some of their others and doesn’t bother me at all. It works great. My husband, daughter, and I all use it with great success. No stinky pits days after using, no rashes.

The product works well at masking odor and controlling sweat. It has a nice scent that isn't overwhelming and doesn't radiate off your body. it doesn't take much to provide coverage, so one tube lasts about 6 months. While it is pricey compared to typical deoderant, it breaks down to about $3 a month.

Smells good, but stains clothes. Works ok, on par with other aluminum free deodorants.
