I can't say enough about how helpful and enlightening this book is for someone who uses gua sha. Even though I'm an acupuncturist, and already familiar with acupoints, there's so much to learn from this book. I show it to my patients who are using gua sha for the first time on themselves. They think it is very interesting and the photos are so great. The instructions are simple enough to apply and the book is well made for lots of handling and flipping through. Highly recommend this book both for personal and professional use.

Good size hard cover book. I’m new to Gua Sha. Plenty of detailed instructions with colorful images. Basically covers the whole body. I was skeptical to order it because of the lack of reviews with images but I’m happy I purchased it. Very interesting!

Very well explained and helpful. I highly recommend it if you are a beginner and want to learn more about gua sha. This book help me with my recurrent tonsillitis.

This book was just what I was looking for. It is high quality. A myriad of detailed information and illustrations. Reads like a textbook.

This was everything I was hoping for in a Gua Sha book. It might be a little challenging for those unfamiliar with the basic concepts of TCM but the guides and images are easy to follow. Definitely recommend

I have gone through several books to try to understand lymphatic drainage, but they all come a bit short. Even though this is a Gua Sha guide, it provides thorough explanations and pathways to detoxify through the lymph system. This one is a keeper!

This book gives great insight on TCM and the expelling of toxins through gush. It also gives you specific directions of using the tool, including pros and cons of guasha technique. Good for someone who has insight and intuition. I also recommend knowing the anatomy of the body before using.

All the body points and instructions to body points are written in Chinese!! There are no instructions for Lymph drainage which is specifically what I bought the book and tools for. This is going to take quite a while to look up the Chinese words on the internet to see what body part they are talking about! If you are looking for instructions on lymphatic drainage... this is not the book.

The instructions are clear and the accompanying pictures make picking up this technique easier, but it would be way easier to have some knowledge of TCM and/or acupuncture going into it. You don’t NEED this kind of background to learn the techniques, but all the names of the points are otherwise unfamiliar Chinese names which may take some time to learn too. I’m not saying that to deter anyone from buying this book because it really is fantastic , I’m just giving a heads up.
