Good clarity and quality on the camera, good wide view and the app is easy to use. The bad, the camera keeps intermittently disconnecting, which ain't much good when using it for surveillance 🤔 Switchbot have been in touch and are replacing the camera, so that is first class customer service. Once I've received and installed the camera I will post a further update. Excellent customer service. The new camera has been up over a week now and have had no issues at all, no disconnections, and notifications for motion are timely and very little lag. Would recommend, purely for the customer service alone.

Great little camera, and love that it has the solar panel so I don’t need to worry about charging / hardwiring it and also means battery life should be infinite! Set-up is super simple, just a case of putting up the bracket and popping the camera into it. Only issue - and it probably won’t impact most people - is the lack of support for HomeAssistant and HomeKit, due to the encryption protocol it uses (please update this SwitchBot!!) Makes an excellent outdoor light when you’re putting the bins out if you change it to colour night vision mode, thanks to the motion detecting.

Easy to install works faster if wired in

The spotlight camera is great. Very easy to install and the app is easy to use. I would highly recommend this camera.

I really like the design of this camera - it's like a small ball that clips into a bracket and allows you to adjust it to cover whatever area you need. The bracket holds the camera firmly, so I don't have any worries about high winds readjusting it's angle. Saying that, I would have liked a way of securing the camera in the bracket once you have set it how you want. At the moment someone could potentially just reach up and steal the camera (if it is in reach). The picture quality is excellent and can't be faulted (other than being much better at close and medium range.) Plus there are lots of different settings to explore such as the different night vision modes. It is easy to set up your motion detection zone, but I'd recommend you play around with the tilt and angel a bit to ensure it works the way it should. It also supports up to 256GB memory (if you don't want to use cloud storage) which is much more than I normally see, and means it can hold a real wealth of recordings. There is a good manual and the "SwitchBot" app works pretty well and is rather self-explanatory especially if you've used cameras like these before. Battery life has been excellent so far - three weeks and counting and I haven't yet had to recharge it. You could "in theory" buy a solar panel if you wanted to install this camera somewhere a bit less accessible. But I would have doubts about using one, as you might get water ingress where you plug the cable into the camera. But like I mentioned, the battery life seems better than average, so this shouldn't really be an issue. Overall, despite a few small issues such as securing the camera, it is really worth considering as a well-designed, good quality security option with long battery life

I actually have Swithbot devices already, three sets of curtain openers, the mini hub and three remotes, and I originally ordered this camera to add to my indoor infrastructure, but have since gifted the camera to my father who was having some problems he wanted a bit more security with. I already have a wide selection of cameras (Ring, Swann, some random pan/tilt cameras) so I've got a good idea on connectivity and image quality and this Switchbot camera stands up well here. As I have a tech mindset it was very easy to get the app setup, camera connected and go through the options with my dad to ensure it's got the right settings in place. The battery is huge so if he needs to move the camera to a different location then it'll last a good while, but for most of the time it's going to be plugged in. One of the most important features for a lot of people is going to be the local storage option. Since I have Ring, I know full well the problems (and benefits) of cloud storage - mainly the perpetual cost. If you're already in the Switchbot ecosystem then this is a good option, but, there are many many options out there and a lot of them are cheaper.

The SwitchBot Wireless Security Camera 2K has been a game-changer for my home security. I installed it to monitor my front yard, and the setup was incredibly straightforward. The 2K video quality is exceptional, capturing even the smallest details, which gives me peace of mind. The color night vision feature has been particularly impressive, allowing me to clearly see everything outside, even in complete darkness. The AI motion detection works flawlessly, only sending alerts for human or pet movement, which has significantly reduced false alarms from things like falling leaves or passing cars. What I appreciate most is the long battery life. After a full charge, the 10,000mAh battery has lasted for weeks without needing to be recharged, even with frequent recordings. The camera's waterproof design has held up well through rain and storms, showing no signs of wear. The Alexa compatibility has also made it convenient to check on my front yard with just a voice command. The option to store footage locally with a 256GB microSD card or use cloud storage offers the flexibility I needed. Overall, this camera has provided reliable, high-quality security coverage for my home.

[ CONFEZIONE ] : 5/5 Ordini un prodotto in kit e ti arriva una scatola compatta. Il primo pensiero è “Accidenti, mancherà qualcosa” ed invece Switchbot è riuscita a mettere tutto il necessario in pochissimo spazio evitando sprechi di carta/plastica e semplificando il trasporto. In confezione troverete la camera, la base a cui agganciarla, il pannello solare con cavo incorporato, il montante del pannello solare, il manuale utente, un pacco accessori per la camera ed uno per il pannello solare (in entrambi troverete viti, fisher e dime per il montaggio a muro) oltre ad un cavo usb type c per l’eventuale ricarica laddove non doveste utilizzare il pannello solare. Come sempre, in poco spazio una dotazione super! [ ESTETICA E QUALITA’ COSTRUTTIVA ] : 5/5 Estetica curatissima. Ho il vecchio modello 1080p, ed ho acquistato questo per il secondo balcone di casa…devo dire che mi sembrano esteticamente quasi identici sebbene il core sia differente e riesca a sorprendere l’upgrade qualitativo nel funzionamento. I dettagli estetici e costruttivi sono davvero impressionanti. Tralasciando il solito colore bianco che reputo azzeccatissimo per le case moderne e la solidità/qualità costruttiva del pannello solare (non il solito pannellino incluso dai brand meno premium, ma molto piu grande e robusto con tanto di supporto solido e snodabile), le vere chicche sono riscontrabili nel corpo camera. Innanzi tutto la forma sferica, abbinata al supporto ad incastro, fa si che si possa raggiungere qualsiasi inclinazione (sia verticale che orizzontale) senza dover spostare la videocamera e rende possibile il cambio di posizione della telecamera con una semplicità pazzesca, senza nessun cacciavite né strumenti, basta fare un pò di forza ed il corpo videocamera si staccherà dal supporto. Resta comunque solidissimo il supporto, infatti anche con vento forte la videocamera resta ancorata al suo interno. Giusto per mio scrupolo (e consiglio sempre di farlo per evitare qualsiasi rischio) ho fascettato supporto e videocamera dopo aver raggiunto la perfetta inclinazione, così da rendere impossibile la caduta della videocamera su strada. Infine, dato che si tratta di una videocamera da esterno, è tanto indispensabile quanto accurata la scelta di coprire con un plug gommato il reparto che include bottone di reset, switch di accensione e spegnimento, luce di indicazione ricarica, slot microSD e Type-C. Esteticamente gradevole anche il frontale, “vetrato” con fondo nero, su cui sono disposti in maniera esteticamente molto curata (centrati ed equidistanti a formare una croce) il pir e l’ottica sulla verticale e Spotlights, microfono, sensore di luce e indicatore led sull’orizzontale. Ho trovato tutto perfetto! [ FUNZIONAMENTO ] : 5/5 Come sempre, massima semplicità di installazione e funzionamento! Montaggio e prima configurazione sono davvero troppo semplici per descriverli, basterà seguire il wizard in app ed in un minuto avrete tutto up&running. Mi soffermerei, piuttosto, sul funzionamento eccellente sia in termini qualitativi che a livello di features. Fluidità ottima, risoluzione eccellente (la camera 1080p sgranava leggermente, la visione in 2k è molto più dettagliata), Motion detection stratosferico (devo spesso ridurre la sensibilità per non ritrovarmi con troppe notifiche) ed anche l’AI Human/Animal Alerts funziona bene distinguendo tra umani ed animali (nel mio caso mi aiuta molto data la presenza di uccelli). Nota di merito per la visione notturna che è molto soddisfacente sia a colori che in bianco e nero. Infine apprezzatissimi l’allarme di “smantellamento” che suona quando si rimuove la videocamera dalla base, la gestione dell’integrazione con alexa/google che è tanto semplice quanto efficace ed il “privacy mode” che permette di spegnere ed accendere la videocamera da remoto (anche tramite scenario) senza azionare manualmente lo switch. Una videocamera da esterno con pannello solare incluso che rasenta la perfezione, ad un prezzo competitivo. Ottimo direi! [ INNOVAZIONE ] : 5/5 Ormai parlare di innovazione è sempre più difficile. Tutto è stato già pensato/realizzato o quasi. Di fatto è una innovazione importante rispetto al modello da 1080p e con la nuova risoluzione 2K ed una fluidità che mi sembra migliorata, la resa è decisamente più soddisfacente. Probabilmente la vera innovazione sta nella nuova modalità di gestione della batteria grazie al fatto che questa videocamera(così come tutti i devices switchbot ora), con aggiornamento firmware, può essere gestita anche attraverso l’hub più vicino ad essa (in automatico, senza necessità di indicare l’hub preferito) e non solo direttamente tramite il ricevitore wifi incorporato. Direi un upgrade di non poco conto per chi deciderà di acquistare il prodotto senza pannello solare. Per farvi una idea di quali siano le distanze tra ogni hub che avete in casa ed i singoli devices, potete andare sull’app switchbot, sezione “profilo”, sottosezione “gestisci gli hub” ed avrete la lista dei gli hub. Cliccando su ognuno di esso, troverete la lista dei devices che riesce a raggiungere con tanto di indicazione sulla qualità del segnale bluetooth. [QUALITA/PREZZO] : 5/5 Il prezzo lancio è 139 ma con lo sconto, praticamente semi-fisso, lo si porta a casa a meno. Il rapporto qualità prezzo (con particolare attenzione alla qualità), rispetto ai competitor, è ben superiore. Se considerate poi il grande vantaggio di avere l’intero ecosistema switchbot gestibile da un’unica app con una semplicità pazzesca, non c’è neanche da fare valutazioni sul prezzo 

工事不要でワイヤレス、設置がとにかく簡単でした。 バッテリー持ちも良く、頻繁に充電しなくていいのが助かります。 IP65防水防塵なので雨の日も問題なし。 夜間でもカラー撮影でき、防犯目的としてもかなり心強いです。 【実際に使ってみて】 海外旅行で家を長期間空けた際も、スマホーつですぐ家の外の様子を確認でき、人の検出履歴など一目でわかるのですごく安心できました！ スマートホーム化を考えている方にもぴったりだと思います。

Werkt uitstekend. Alarmtijd en zone goed instelbaar

Caméra très intelligente qui peut être placé n'importe où. On n'est pas obligé de percer le mur si on veut le placer en hauteur, il y a une sorte de pate adhésif qu'on peut utiliser. Sinon on peut le mettre sur un table debout. Niveau fonctionnalités, il y a une alarme à l'intérieur qu'on peut déclencher quand on veut. Le détecteur de mouvement est aussi très précis. Il faut un abonnement payant si on veut sauvegarder les vidéos dans le cloud, mais ce n'est pas obligatoire, on peut aussi mettre une micro SD dans la caméra si on veut pour sauvegarder. Très bonne qualité aussi !

Una buena opción sin depender de empresas de seguridad si lo que se quiere es solo cámara de vigilancia y no alarma. La cámara no está nada mal; ofrece una buena calidad de imagen y se puede controlar desde cualquier móvil mediante la aplicación propia disponible tanto para Android como para iOS. Desde la app se puede controlar prácticamente todo pero como funciones destacables tiene la de detección de movimiento, visión nocturna que puede ser en blanco y negro o a color si se encienden los led de iluminación que tiene y audio bidireccional. 📼El almacenamiento de video e imágenes se hace mediante tarjeta SD hasta un máximo de 256gb. 🪛Se instala bastante fácil; atornillando el soporte a la pared con 3 tornillos (que ya incluye con sus tacos correspondientes) para los cuales habrá que taladrar previamente. Lo mismo pasa con el panel solar. Una vez colocada hay que conectarla al cable del panel solar, que es bastante largo y da de sobra para situar el panel en una zona soleada sin problema. 📡La cámara se vincula de una manera muy fácil; además te va guiando paso a paso en como hacerlo. Solamente hay que descargarse la app, que una vez la inicies te indicará que escanees el QR que tiene la propia cámara para así conectarla mediante wifi 2,4G. Una vez conectada las opciones que da la app son muchas: opciones de visualización, calidad de imagen, volumen de alarmas y un largo etc que en verdad lleva un ratito de trastear con ella. 🗣️ Por otra parte también es compatible con Alexa y google Assistant, un extra bastante interesante. El único punto negativo que le veo es que es orientable pero solo manualmente, es decir, al ser como una bola, la propia cámara hace como si fuese una rótula en el soporte, que permite orientarla manualmente para que enfoque el lugar que se quiera pero no tiene un mecanismo motorizado para hacerlo desde el móvil como otras que he probado. 🔍 En general me ha parecido una cámara muy completa, de fácil instalación y manejo intuitivo con alimentación solar autónoma y sin más cable que el del panel solar.
