Feels a little cheap, but works as advertised.
Great for open bench testing. Prior to that, I had used a paper clip to short the header pins, which is a little risky and annoying if you're doing it repeatedly. The cable quality is decent and the length is generous. Do consider using some form of strain relief, if you're wiring this into a case. Leave a bit of slack and then maybe use a cable tie to tightly affix it to something in or on the case. I have no complaints about the brightness of the LED. I could always tell when the power was on, but it was never too bright for me.

Easy to Install
It was easy to set up on the PC we already built. It did short a few times, maybe because we also kept the original power button on, but we took it off and only had the external one plugged in and it no longer shorted. I have the button under my desk so that my cats don’t press it and turn it off/on accidentally. We set these up for both PCs and it works perfectly. Since the price of these are relatively cheap, I’d continue to do this for any future builds.

Very handy replacement.
Works great. Bought to replace a faulty tower switch. Can be attached to the case or the long cord allows you to place the switch nearby the keyboard.

Use ALL the pins
Absolutely could not get this to work until I connected both the buttons wires and the wires for the case's switch to the add-in board. But once that was done, it works fantastically! Love it!

Good Button.
As advertised. Cord is small enough to sneak through cases fan grill bellow a fan. Included splitter was easy to install and have the new button and regular case button usable. Sticks to my desk and has a solid "click" feel to the button.

Great power button for bench testing
Got for testing a motherboard. Overkill for my needs but it was nice for testing. Will keep in my parts box for the next time I need to do that. In my younger days I just used to short the pins, but my eyes aren't as good as they used to be, so leaving this hooked up during building makes life easier. I like the long cord and the sold feel. I wish I had these back in my PC building days!

EXTERNAL PC POWER SWITCH
I bought this external PC power switch to replace an old switch I have been using for years. My old switch started only working once in a while to not working at all. This switch was easy to install on my computers front panel connector on my motherboard. It took me about two minutes to install it because I have built my last two computers so I already knew how to hook it up. There are instructions included that explain how to hook it up. I am using my switch on my desk so I will not be using the self stick tape it comes with. It works great as far as turning on my computer. I'm glad I bought this external PC Power Switch and highly recommend it.

Fix or upgrade ur pc power button
Power button on my pc broke so I used this bad boy as a fix/upgrade. Couldn’t find a replacement button for my pc case and didn’t want a new case just because of the button. This button was actually and upgrade for me because now the power button is on my desk instead of under my desk on the bottom of my pc on the floor.
