I really enjoyed reading Crossed. I love anything Emily McIntire writes. This is a dark romance novels with a morally grey male character. This novel is inspired by The Hunchback of Notre Damn, but the author makes it clear that this is not a retelling. She is basically using elements from it as inspiration, but it's her own story and the plot Is much different than the movie. Religion is a main focus for this plot, so if anyone has an issue with the Catholic Church, it migjt be hard for you to read thism I personally didnt have any issues. There is alot of s*xual tension, but actual spice happens about halfway through the book, so if you dont like the slow build up, it may bother you. If you havent read other books in this series, dont worry about it. All of the books are based in their own setting and revolve around their own characters. There is no overlap between each book in this series, so you can judt read this one and not touch the others if thats what you prefer.

Gutes Buch - als Fan der Reihe weiß man ja worauf man sich einlässt. Nur damit ich hier mehr Wörter generiere fange ich jetzt nicht an, den Inhalt zum drölften Mal zusammenzufassen. Einfach den Einband lesen und dann das ganze Buch. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und das Englisch wird auch sehr gut geschult!
