Great craftsmanship, high quality leather
OK, it's a belt. Big deal. But if you're into leather, and you like a good quality belt, you know that you don't need to spend $100 bucks to get one. I have a lot of belts. Mostly because my weight has gone up and down, and well, you don't need to know the whole story, but I'll bet that you might be facing the same problem. So, I lost some weight, and needed a new belt to go along with the new jeans that I've added to my wardrobe. Looked hard and fast at all of the belts. I wanted great leather, a nice looking buckle, and wanted it to fit right. That's what this is. You can see that the packaging is nice, but not overdone. The belt quality is as good as any I've had and paid a lot more money for. The leather is heavy and a little stiff, which just speaks to the quality. I know from other leather products I've bought, that with use, the leather will soften. But for now, it's just fine. It's not uncomfortable, just stiff. The buckle is well formed, with no sharp edges, and the bottom of the buckle is even formed so that it fits over the belt, and doesn't cut into the leather. One thing I found interesting is that this belt has six holes in it. Every other belt I have only has 5. So, they're giving you a bit more flexibility in wearing it. The color is nice, will be "seen but not heard" when I'm wearing it. Very pleased with the belt. I will certainly put this on my "favorite belt" side of things when I need another one, or in a different color.

5 yrs and I still love it
Just had to tighten the screw on mine and couldn’t help but wonder how long I’ve had this thing. It’s been 5 years, I wear it every day and it looks better than the day it was delivered. Great product!

Looks great, but do regular leather conditioning.
I really like the thickness and width of the belt. It's nice enough to wear to work, but casual enough for the weekends. I've had the belt for several months now with daily use and it is faring well. It has started to show cracking in the leather at the buckle. I conditioned the leather and it helped a good bit, but it seems a little soon to be showing this type of wear. It's something I would expect of lower quality leather or an old belt. My last belt never cracked, never conditioned it, and it lasted for years. I might buy this one again, but I'd do regular conditioning to keep it in good shape.

Good Purchase - thoughts on color
When I got this belt and saw that it was made in China I was a bit worried about the quality and sizing. I was relieved, the sizing is correct and the hardware is good/solid. The leather is thick and wide which makes it a good belt for jeans or business casual. Overall very nice belt for the price, the only notable thing is that I got the brown color and I would not say that it is what most people would consider as brown as it's a bit lighter with a hint of orange. I actually really like the color but for those of you interested in the orange belt I saw that someone said it was more orange than expected so maybe this is belt (brown) is what you are actually looking for?

Held up for 6 years.
Very satisfied with the quality of this belt. I only wear one at a time. I purchased this one in January 2018, and the belt broke at the metal part just this morning (October 28, 2024). VERY impressed with the durability of this belt. I'm glad they're still sold, and I immediately went and purchased the same. It'll probably last me until 2030!

When in Doubt, Go Big - Easy to Shorten
I have a 34" waist and had been using a 32"-34" belt of a different make that was just a little short as I had to use the last hole on it. I meant to order the 34"-36" Bullko belt, but selected 36"-38" by mistake. I was about to return it until I read that the belt could be shortened just by undoing the one screw by the buckle. I took the buckle off and laid the belt next to my old belt lining up the notch holes. Then I slid the new one down two notch holes to add more length compared to my old belt. I ended up cutting off 4" from the new belt using ordinary kitchen shears. I used an awl and razor to gauge out a new screw hole then reattached the buckle and strap. Now the belt fits perfectly with a couple notch holes on either side to let out or tighten up as needed. Most likely, if I had ordered the 32" - 34" belt, it would have been the same as what I ended up with. if there's any doubt about what size to order, just get one longer than you think you'll need and cut it to size. Everything else about the belt is high quality as the other reviewers noted.

Excellent Product. Easy to Shorten If Needed
Very well designed and constructed. Very heavy leather. It is too wide for one pair of dress slacks, but for more casual pants, such as jeans, it works and looks great. As it turned out, the belt was a couple inches longer and one hole fewer than needed. It was easy to punch an extra hole with a heated ice pick. Shortening the belt was just a matter of tracing an outline of the pointed tip onto the place I wanted to cut, and then using a combination of an Xacto knife and Dremel cutting wheel to cut off a couple of inches. A little work with a black Sharpie on the tip finished the job. Worked great.

Belt WILL 100% Break.
Update: I have about shy of 10 of these belts and they're all broken. The clasps break on every single one up to 6 months after purchase. Im not a big guy or anything - it's just shoddy design and it will happen to you. Let me tell you why. The clasp( the part you put through belt holes ) on the belt buckle is "pinched" onto one side. On many belts this piece loops the left side of the buckle. The reason for this is because the "pinch" of a half loop will eventually spread apart causing the clasp of an otherwise great belt to simply fall off randomly - into a urinal, the floor of a bathroom or bedroom, etc. What makes this worse is that the edges of that pinched half loop are brittle. One good smack on a solid surface - all of a sudden that half loop is now a nub and can't be pliered back on the buckle, and unfortunately this has happened with 6 or so. The others were broken when trying to pinch them back on, or the clasp disappeared entirely. This can be really embarrassing for meetings, etc, if you're counting on these for functionality and not just the look( they DO look great ). No one wants to be the guy constantly hiking their pants up - and in my case if you have to give a presentation you might have to make a trip home or learn to keep a spare belt in the car ( great advice I'll give all you guys for free ) My suggestion is that IF YOU BUY THESE, you need to IMMEDIATELY fix the clasp by soldering it into an actual loop. If you DON'T I absolutely, 100%, GUARANTEE that piece will break within a few months of wear. You can trust me, and you should. I've bought about a dozen of these over the course of several years - but honestly I think I might be done purchasing this product. I have literally about 10 GREAT belts that I can't wear because the clasps are poorly constructed and broken. GREAT for the business if you keep buying, not so much for the consumer. --- Original Belt looks really good. I mean, honestly, after getting the first one I immediately ordered a second brown belt and two more in black. They are extremely versatile in that they aren't flashy enough to not be worn casually, but the quality is high enough that you can wear them in a business environment and they'll still work for you! I dismissed a star because, as another review mentioned, the weak point isn't the belt itself, it's the pin you use to catch the belt hole. It's flimsy enough to break off before anything else. I will say that I got my worth out of the belt. Furthermore EVERYTHING else about it is great. Typically belts show a lot of stress over time, but these still look almost new and i purchased all a year ago and wear one every day. It's so strange that such a quality belt has a rather odd Achilles heel. I would still recommend purchase, but be aware that you may need to replace within a shorter period of time than you were expecting due to this minor, but important, flaw!
