HyperX Cloud Revolver

Background: I've been using headsets for over 10years for playing PC games, listening to music & media consumption. Initially I used a TurtleBeach Wired set, then Corsair Wired, then Corsair Wireless. Review: This headset easily defeats those mentioned above. All had their plastic ear-hinge crack & shatter after extended use, hence the move to these metal-cup elastic style. Surprisingly these also have a much better seal around my ears than them, resulting in much less sound-bleed & a better overall experience. Cable is unnecessarily long, so I just left it tied up as it came.

Good product.

Everything is pretty good for example, the cushioning(headphones/headband) is a nice squishy comfortable foam, great quality of material very durable, Sounds great along with the microphone and style of the headset . This is a wired, gaming headset, with good sound quality, but above all I found it to be comfortable, largely due to its professional style cradle and decent quality ear cups. Used on a PC, its easy to set up .

These headphones are pretty decent for the price. I have tried most headphones from hyper X, and these by far are superior in their wired range. Sound: Compared to the cloud 2s especially, these knock it out of the park. I found the sound to be a bit bassy, but not overbearing, and the treble and mids to also be quite balanced. The soundstage is excellent for a closed back headset, helping you feel immersed when playing games or listening to music. However, they do not isolate sound well at all, so keep that in mind. Microphone: Mic quality is excellent. However, I wish it had a pop filter. Comfort: These headphones I am pretty sure are meant for people with wider heads, as the mechanism used to keep them on your head is reliant on how the cups are placed on your ears. For people with not so wide heads, the cups tend to fall a bit and rest on the top of your ear. This is a bit of an issue but it not a deal-breaker as it is not uncomfortable per se. I've had worse. Overall, I think these headphones are quite a good set, especially if you can get them on sale. However, a question of value is to be had over the cloud alphas as they only have marginally better sound quality (less sibilance and better soundstage) and better mic quality for current £30 more. Depends on what your preferences are to see these as good value.

Bought to work for online gaming, the level of detail I can here is unreal, enemy footsteps are clear and can be pin pointed with accuracy making game play superb, I have this plugged in to a rode studio kit as well. First of all I would like to emphasize that the reason this headset is only getting 3 stars has nothing to do with it's sound quality because in that regard it is one of the best I've heard. The only problem with this headset is the adjustability. Unfortunately, after a few minutes of usage it would start causing discomfort to my jaw. This is because the headband isn't adjustable, which causes it to sag down in my case.

Solid headphones, metal around the earcuffs where my old Turtle Beach X07 pro snapped. Sound is great on them and very comfy, they work well for long gaming sessions.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 13 year old grandson. He’s over the moon with it 😊

Cuffie dal suono molto pulito e lineare, con una risposta piuttosto neutra rispetto alle varie concorrenti: i bassi non eccessivamente marcati, le frequenze alte forse lo sono un po' di più. L'isolamento acustico è nei limiti: fosse stato maggiore avrebbe forse potuto compromettere la sicurezza in un comune uso domestico (nel senso che se fossero insonorizzate ancora di più durante un uso ad alto volume potrebbero entrarti letteralmente i ladri in casa o venire i vigili del fuoco a sfondare la porta per spegnere un incendio e non ti accorgeresti di nulla). Il palcoscenico musicale è molto definito, al punto che nell'uso in videogaming se paragonate ad altre cuffie si ha l'impressione di una esperienza completamente differente, quasi fosse in funzione un qualche tipo di audio posizionale: rigiocare gli stessi scenari con queste cuffie fa scoprire dettagli prima del tutto assenti e/o permette di localizzarli con buona precisione, questo nonostante l'assenza di certi brutti effettacci digitali presenti su altri modelli. Per ascolto di musica risultano nettamente superiori a delle cuffie da ascolto musicale di fascia medio-bassa, permettendo un compromesso qualitativo non sempre verificabile con queste cuffie "da gaming" che hanno solitamente una qualità pessima e son più fuffa ed effetti digitali che altro. Non mi pronuncio ancora sulla durata ma già noto che le gomme auricolari non sono sostituibili e non sono in tessuto bensì in gomma a vista e dunque con l'uso e con gli sbalzi di temperatura immagino sarà quello il punto debole di un progetto altrimenti solido. Il comfort e la vestibilità sono buoni ma non eccellenti e credo la cuffia prediliga teste grandi o molto grandi. [AGGIORNAMENTO] A due anni di distanza e pieno utilizzo sono sempre molto soddisfatto ma ho dovuto cambiare i pad auricolari che si sono sfondati nonostante l'attenzione al maneggio e cura superiore alla norma che ho nel gestire le mie cose. Poco male: per circa 20 euro ne ho trovato un paio di identica misura e qualità sovrapponibile sempre qui su Amazon.

Excelente Headfone para games. Você consegue distinguir cada som do jogo perfeitamente. Apesar de não ser 7.1 funciona muito bem para essa função. Tem um som muito bem equilibrado. Os graves não estouram mas também não tem toda aquela potência se o que esta pensando é ouvir aquela musica eletrônica com graves no máximo. A qualidade para músicas é muito satisfatória. Equilíbrio e qualidade sonora é o nome desse headfone . Se encaixa na cabeça perfeitamente, no entanto, não abafa o som externo totalmente, nada que venha incomodar. O ponto negativo fica no preço que é bem salgado. O microfone ainda não testei então não vou opinar.

Me están yendo muy bien. No aíslan mucho pero algo se nota. Echo en falta poder controlar el volumen desde los propios cascos. El micrófono funciona bien y es cómodo de poner y quitar, flexible así que se puede ajustar fácilmente. La calidad del audio está bastante bien. Para mí la única pega es que la altura de los auriculares en las orejas se ajusta por suspensión al colocarte los cascos, de modo que no la puedes ajustar a tu gusto.
